"New hotel, good location near Porter Square T"
This hotel is well located on the red line quite close to the Porter Square T. That puts you one stop from Harvard Square in one direction and Davis Square in the other. The hotel is quite new. The restaurant was still not open, but that didn't really matter, there are many places close walking distance. It would be a great choice for a single traveler who needs access to Cambridge. There seems to be valet parking only, but we didn't have a car. The price was very reasonable. For a couple, I found the room a bit small. The bed was a queen. The bathroom has an opaque sliding glass door and no exhaust fan. The counter space and closet space is very limited. We could hear our neighbors (who seemed to spend all their time in their room) talking much of the night. Overall a good value but if you want more room and privacy, you might want to spend more.

"Good value for stay in Boston"
Our stay was good; room was comfortable and seemed to be updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very good access to subway and close to attractions. Only negative was that coffee stocked in the room for next day was all decaffeinated. Wish access to the hotel was easier from the interstate also.

"Loved the view from our little balcony"
The hotel is under renovation so the check in process and elevators were a bit confusing but we figured it out!

"nice but noisy"
Great location but the 4 a.m. Dumpster action was a bit early for a wake up call. I would definitely go back but not stay in room 139

"ok hotel"
The lobby is gorgeous--I booked a deluxe King and the gentleman who checked me in commented on how nice the deluxe room is. Got upstairs and opened the door inward into the room. As the door swung open the bed was literally right there. No foyer or walkway the bed. So we could hear anyone walking in the hallway perfectly. There was a single sink with no counter space and the bathroom door opened into the bathroom and you practically had to stand on the toilet to close the door behind you. Just disappointed I paid so much for such a lack luster experience.

"Wonderful, elegant hotel in Back Bay"
We had a lovely stay visiting our son. The room was warmly furnished, quiet and lovely, looking down onto Commonwealth Ave.. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Transportation was easy: the T was one block away and taxis took only a minute to get. We walked all over the neighborhood and often to Newberry Street which is only a block away. I will go back whenever I can. Highly recommended.
