"Great location, great stay for kids "
We chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next day. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they had an indoor water park for children (separate ticket price). This made our overnight stay with a 6yr old and 2 yr old very easy. We did not experience the restaurant but there is a Starbucks type area for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The room set up was a family suite, two small beds for the kids and a king for us. Room was equipped with fridge and microwave so we could store snacks/milk etc. Overall great hotel experience, we would definitely visit again.

"convenient for concert on night of stay"
One minor issue. As we arrived at our room there was an empty wine glass on ground outside the door. That glass remained there until after breakfast next morning, eventhough our bill was delivered and placed under our door during the night AND we had some bath robes delivered to room! Surely the appearance of the hotel is the responsability of all staff?

"Simple & Comfortable"
We loved our short but sweet stay at the Charlesmark. It was our first time in Boston and this hotel was a great price compared to some of the other more expensive options that were out of our budget. Proof that you don't have to spend a ton to receive quality accommodations. After traveling from a name-brand hotel in a different state (one that was not clean, updated or relaxing) we thoroughly enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room we had at The Charlesmark and finally felt like we could have a good night's rest. The location on Boylston Street has dozens of restaurants and shops right out the door. The staff was very helpful. They allowed us to park our rental car out front and unload our bags to the room before we returned the car. They also stored our bags for several hours after check-out because we had some time to kill before our flight home. We will definitely consider staying here again when visiting Boston.

"Awesome staff, Great Modestly Priced Hotel"
They've got an awesome staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and seemed to really enjoy working there and helping out the guests. It's got a really nice modern feel, with modern amenities. It's a smart design, both for the lobby and the rooms. Because it's a moderately priced hotel it's not super luxurious. But I really appreciated the how well everything was designed and laid out. And my room in particular (or that block of rooms where I was staying) had an awesome view of a side of a mountain that was just exquisite and really made the whole stay twice as nice. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

"Great location. Walking distance to a lot"
Lobby is very nice and location is great. Walking distance to a lot of nice Resturants and the river. Room was not very clean. Dried up spill on the desk. Something sticky on the bedside lamp. Sofa had stains. Looked like it had never been cleaned. Disappointed in the quality of the room at $350 per night.

"Friendly, comfortable respite!"
Great place to rest after a day of classes at my conference. I loved the kitchen. Bed pretty comfortable, room and bath nice and clean. Staff EXCELLENT!!! I would advise bringing bottled water, the tap water not very tasty. Also, the breakfast looked great, but was disappointingly inedible. The good news is, with a kitchen I was able to make other arrangements!

"Great Room "
Decided to get a room pretty spontaneously here and it was awesome. The lady at the front desk let me use her charging block for the night, the bed was super comfy and the room had a little kitchen.
