"Great location, superior service"
I give high marks to the staff at this hotel - they were efficient, personable, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They are reason enough to stay here, but as it happens, the Boxer is comfortable, stylish, and within walking distance to many major attractions. the restaurant doesn't have a huge selection, but it's all very good. Just a great place to stay.

Boston Common Hotel

40 Trinity Place, Boston - Map

"Great location, adequate accommodation"
This hotel has a great location close to Trinity Church and two different subway stops, and only a few minutes walk to Boston Commons. The room was perfectly adequate, although the bathroom was very old and tired looking, and the entire place is badly in need of updating. However, who cares? It was reasonably priced and the location was great. The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby.

Make your own mark on Boston’s history by staying in a hotel with a colourful past.

You can’t walk a block in Boston without tripping over something historically significant. Make the most of this and head over to the Freedom Trail, where you’ll wind through over 3 km of downtown Boston and see prominent items like the USS Constitution (one of the six original frigates of the United States Navy) and the Paul Revere House (where he was living before making his dramatic ride). Following that, you can head to the waterfront to explore the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, and you can actually experience the Boston Tea Party via actors, use of holograms, and yes, several replicas of the merchant vessels that transported the tea.

After an exciting day of taking in the local history, stop by your hotel to relax and catch your breath. A number of hotels in the Boston area are historical buildings themselves; some of them constructed over a century ago. When you stay at a historic hotel in Boston, you’ll enjoy all the modern amenities tucked into a classic shell. Take your meals in a Victorian-styled restaurant, or explore the unique bedrooms at an older bed and breakfast.

When you book with Expedia.ca, you’ll have access to the best hotels in Boston. It doesn’t matter whether you want to stay in a historic building or a swanky new locale; we’ll unearth the top rooms and suites at rates that won’t make your pocketbook want to jump overboard. Now that’s what we call historic savings.
