"In town hotel,near attractions."
We were surprised the our "cabin" was in the basement w/o a window. Probably that's why such a good rate. We were only there to sleep so not a big issue. We did have a problem w/ noisy neighbors blasting tv at 1:30 am. I called the front desk and they took care of it. Much appreciated.

"Great Location for Food and Fun!"
The location is great as you can walk to many of Boston's best attractions. Situated between the Theater District and Chinatown, there is always something to do or see and always something great to eat. The staff are all excellent. I have stayed twice this month alone and will likely return soon.

"Very nice hotel!"
Great hotel and perfect location! The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars is because the room was a little small.

"Renovations "
The hotel itself was good. Very clean and in a central location. I just wish someone would've told us it was under renovations. I was so looking forward to the roof top and its view, and it wasn't available.

"Close and Clean!"
We went to the Bruins game, so needed a spot close to The Garden - this hotel was perfect! It's close to bars, food and shopping. It was beautiful outside and the rooms were clean, updated and friendly staff! Each room has a yoga mat!

Quick trip for the AFC Championship but the overall hotel was exactly what I had hoped for. Great price, great fresh and clean rooms and the staff couldn't have been nicer. 5-stars for sure!

"Beautiful hotel and room; but not really clean"
We thought our room was really beautiful and the staff was very helpful; but on our second day after the room had been "cleaned" there was a giant hairball near the bed...and another one in the towels--it looked like part of a hair extension might have fallen out. The night before we had ordered room service -- and it was really overpriced - a fruitcup, side order of rice, and glass of wine--totalling $50.00. After the hairball incident -- the hotel knocked $25.00 off the food bill. Overall the stay was very pleasant--the hotel is near many great tourist attractions and restaurants and the room itself was spacous and lovely. I would stay there again because I assume my visit was an aberration...the gym was very nice also.

"Nice Downtown Hotel"
Stayed overnight at the Boxer for the AFC Championship game this past weekend, asked for an early check in due to my flight time and the hotel was great about it. Room was clean and very nice. I'd highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting to stay in downtown Boston

Make your own mark on Boston’s history by staying in a hotel with a colourful past.

You can’t walk a block in Boston without tripping over something historically significant. Make the most of this and head over to the Freedom Trail, where you’ll wind through over 3 km of downtown Boston and see prominent items like the USS Constitution (one of the six original frigates of the United States Navy) and the Paul Revere House (where he was living before making his dramatic ride). Following that, you can head to the waterfront to explore the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, and you can actually experience the Boston Tea Party via actors, use of holograms, and yes, several replicas of the merchant vessels that transported the tea.

After an exciting day of taking in the local history, stop by your hotel to relax and catch your breath. A number of hotels in the Boston area are historical buildings themselves; some of them constructed over a century ago. When you stay at a historic hotel in Boston, you’ll enjoy all the modern amenities tucked into a classic shell. Take your meals in a Victorian-styled restaurant, or explore the unique bedrooms at an older bed and breakfast.

When you book with Expedia.ca, you’ll have access to the best hotels in Boston. It doesn’t matter whether you want to stay in a historic building or a swanky new locale; we’ll unearth the top rooms and suites at rates that won’t make your pocketbook want to jump overboard. Now that’s what we call historic savings.
