Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel

"Very Nice"
We were a bit out of our element, not gonna lie. The price tag wasn't bad for a room in Boston, considering even cheap chains were around 50$ less a night. We figured a little bit of extra money was worth it for such a highly rated hotel. The club that's within the hotel was nice but way too busy on a Saturday to even enter without feeling claustrophobic. Glancing at the price list for certain amenities made us certain to not touch anything but the necessities but everything we needed was within walking distance.

"Living in History "
This is a relatively "old" (1920's) building. It has been nicely updated. There was a small lapse in cleaning the shower. The staff at the desk quickly redressed the problem. I was quite happy overall. Parking was easy. Location is great. WiFi was fine (sometimes a problem in old building. )

I went for business, by t brought my wife. This was the perfect hotel for both. The Oak Long Bar is a great place to meet and entertain clients. The hotel is well known and easy to get to. For my wife, it was posh, elegant and wonderfully located. It kind of feels like the Plaza, but in Boston.

Make your own mark on Boston’s history by staying in a hotel with a colourful past.

You can’t walk a block in Boston without tripping over something historically significant. Make the most of this and head over to the Freedom Trail, where you’ll wind through over 3 km of downtown Boston and see prominent items like the USS Constitution (one of the six original frigates of the United States Navy) and the Paul Revere House (where he was living before making his dramatic ride). Following that, you can head to the waterfront to explore the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, and you can actually experience the Boston Tea Party via actors, use of holograms, and yes, several replicas of the merchant vessels that transported the tea.

After an exciting day of taking in the local history, stop by your hotel to relax and catch your breath. A number of hotels in the Boston area are historical buildings themselves; some of them constructed over a century ago. When you stay at a historic hotel in Boston, you’ll enjoy all the modern amenities tucked into a classic shell. Take your meals in a Victorian-styled restaurant, or explore the unique bedrooms at an older bed and breakfast.
