"Rooms too small"
The hotel was great, staff was friendly and helpful. However, the size of the room is extremely small. We stayed in a Queen Deluxe Room and had little too no space. No room for a couch or open space. No fridge or microwave in the room

"Great hotel, great location!"
I was only there for a night for business, but The Nine Zero was great - comfortable room with an amazing view, amazing service (they even brought me a hair straightener when I realized I forgot mine)! The restaurant on site had great breakfast options and had a really cool vibe. In addition, the hotel is located right on the corner of the Common just steps from the garden, the harbor, Faneiul Hall, the North End, and South Station - what more could you want out of a hotel?

"Nice hotel close to Salem attractions"
Room was clean and spacious. They upgraded our room to 2 full baths without even asking. Staff was very polite and helpful. Overall a great experience.

The hotel is beautiful, and most of the staff are friendly, but they don't go out of their way unfortunately.

"Good location in Boston"
Good location, clean and safe. I knew when I booked that there was a remodel going on, but it really did affect my overall perception of the hotel. We had to use the stairs during one day due to painting around the elevator. No staff member ever offered help with my luggage or even opened the door for us. The concierge did not arrive until 3 each day; however, the front desk personnel was helpful. I'm not sure I would stay there again but it was not a bad hotel, just not the quality I expected.

"Got better"
When you check into a hotel, you want to feel happy that you chose it when you arrive. I did not initially feel that way when we arrived. I don't normally write reviews, but this was my first real vacation in 3 years and I was so disappointed. However, Harold made all the difference. He moved us to a different room, we were able to use kayaks at the sister hotel, he seemed to genuinely care about our experience, and all and all he made it a great experience. I just want to say thank you. Your customer service is truly appreciated.

Make your own mark on Boston’s history by staying in a hotel with a colourful past.

You can’t walk a block in Boston without tripping over something historically significant. Make the most of this and head over to the Freedom Trail, where you’ll wind through over 3 km of downtown Boston and see prominent items like the USS Constitution (one of the six original frigates of the United States Navy) and the Paul Revere House (where he was living before making his dramatic ride). Following that, you can head to the waterfront to explore the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, and you can actually experience the Boston Tea Party via actors, use of holograms, and yes, several replicas of the merchant vessels that transported the tea.

After an exciting day of taking in the local history, stop by your hotel to relax and catch your breath. A number of hotels in the Boston area are historical buildings themselves; some of them constructed over a century ago. When you stay at a historic hotel in Boston, you’ll enjoy all the modern amenities tucked into a classic shell. Take your meals in a Victorian-styled restaurant, or explore the unique bedrooms at an older bed and breakfast.

When you book with Expedia.ca, you’ll have access to the best hotels in Boston. It doesn’t matter whether you want to stay in a historic building or a swanky new locale; we’ll unearth the top rooms and suites at rates that won’t make your pocketbook want to jump overboard. Now that’s what we call historic savings.
