"No hot water and over priced breakfast"
The shower produced cold water for our three night stay - two nights out of three. So our morning started with a cold shower!!! Took two days to fix it. Breakfast for two - $60.00 plus 20% mandatory tip!!!!

The Bostonian Boston

"Great location for first time visitor"
The Bostonian has value for its location. Adjacent to Quincy Market which provides cheap eats and shopping, and a quick walk to the Wharf where there are ferries to different locations including Salem & Martha's Vinyard. The hotel is not visually appealing. The outside is a definite throwback to the 80's and the inside lobby matches that in a tacky red and black. I was a bit concerned when we checked in. However, when we got to our room (631) it was very clean and big. The bathrooms had just been redone and has a nice, big closet. What I didn't like about the room were the linens. The sheets felt like tissue paper (and sounded like it too) and the towels were very rough and cheap. But the bed was comfortable.

"Great location great staff and building."
Awesome stay... the only issue was breakfast roomservice from the Eastern Standard. Toast was like rubber, and the rest of the breakfast was room temp.... I'd stay again in a heartbeat, but skip treating us to room service

"Loved the suite"
Comfortable, airy, convenient. The furniture could have been more comfortable, but was definitely serviceable. Loved the feel of the space and the conveniences in the room. Would absolutely stay there again. One of the best places I've stayed in in back bay.

Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel

"Very Nice"
We were a bit out of our element, not gonna lie. The price tag wasn't bad for a room in Boston, considering even cheap chains were around 50$ less a night. We figured a little bit of extra money was worth it for such a highly rated hotel. The club that's within the hotel was nice but way too busy on a Saturday to even enter without feeling claustrophobic. Glancing at the price list for certain amenities made us certain to not touch anything but the necessities but everything we needed was within walking distance.
