"nice hotel but no bar"
HI The Loews in Boston is nice enough that we have stayed twice.. But the second time was not as nice. You have no stocked bar and that is really missed and inconvenient. The coffee machine is hard to use, hard to reach, on a shelf - a BOTTOM shelf- in a cupboard. You have to STRUGGLE physically to use it and I don't think an older person even could. In addition in my room, the phone by the bed is place on a table by a wall which is very closed to the bed. There is only room enough for a larger person to just maybe slide sideways to get the phone but probably a bigger person would have to leap across the bed itself to answer the phone. Just put it on the OTHER side here people can get to it or move the bed away from the wall. One got the feeling that whoever is in charge is a mechanical thinker who plans things out with out taking into consideration how people live and feel comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulously good and our older waiter very find, but the breakfast on Sunday was not good at all and my male friend though his steak smelled funny, the hollandaise from a jar was dried out, etc. Room 916

"No pool."
The pictures of the pool you see on the hotel website is of the pool at the Boston Sports Club. The hotel has a shuttle to the complex, so guest can use there pool free of charge. So you have to leave hotel to do so even though it's close by. It's misleading to show pictures of a pool when they don't have one, especially for such big hotel.

"Excellent Staff!!"
The staff was excellent. The room was a good size. The pool was nice. Only hotel in the area that allowed both my fur babies (dogs) in one hotel room with out costing and arm and a leg, or having to rent two hotel rooms. I will say walls are very thin. You can easily hear what anyone next to you is doing..... and everything.....

"Affordable hotel near professional training"
I wanted a hotel that was affordable and near the location of a training I attended. Candlewood was all that and more. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the front desk staff were. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was clean and spacious as well. There was a kitchenette setup - fridge, sink, microwave, surface burners, along with dishes and flatware. It was ideal for my purposes and I will come back again!

"Reasonable hotel for the kids to have a pool "
I booked 3 rooms at this hotel so my grandchildren could have some fun in the pool. When we arrived we were told there would be a a 3 hour wait to use the pool and they wiouldn't tell us why the pool was closed. That made us feel uncomfortable, was it nothing but chemical refill or had someone been sick in the pool area? Etc. I feel as though another hotel would have given us some kind of amenity for this inconvenience. Other than that the stay was enjoyable.

"Great modern hotel in the heart of Boston"
We were upgraded to an upper floor upon check in and the view was amazing! This is a very modern hotel with all the little luxuries you would expect. The location is great--easy walking to everything.

"Standard but Good Airport Hotel"
As above, it’s a decent hotel which is maybe five-ten minutes from the airport; shuttle runs every 20 minutes, rooms are fine. It’s a short stay (overnight) airport hotel; the restaurant/bar is ok but the hotel itself in the middle of a line of car parks, auto sales etc so bear that in mind. If you don’t have your own transport, think about your dinner options because they’re limited (although I’m sure you can order take-out).

You know it’s not a family vacation until the whole clan – furry members, too – are together.

Fido’s leash can come off at Peter’s Park, a fenced, off-leash area where you and your pooch to can run and play. Play fetch in the sunshine, or sit on a bench nursing a hot chocolate in the winter. You’ll find numerous other off-leash dog parks in the city, as well as plenty of places you can take your pet as long as he stays on the leash. Go for a brisk walk together in Harvard Square, where you can window shop to your heart’s content. Some restaurants and cafes welcome well-behaved pooches, and will let you enjoy a meal out on the patio while Fido snacks on the treats and jerky you brought along. Don’t forget to keep water and food dishes on hand so he can eat, too.

When you’re looking for a place to stay with your pet, hotels in Boston are ready to step up. Make sure your little guy or gal fits any breed or size restrictions the hotel may have—call ahead to make sure. Once you’re in, order up room service for dinner and eat together. Try to book a hotel close to open spaces like Boston Public Garden, so the two of you can go out for walks whenever the mood takes you.

Book with Expedia.ca today and find great Boston hotels that are primed and ready for you and your furry, feathered, or scaled companions. You’ll save money and time when you make travel arrangements through us, leaving you with more of both to spend in Harvard Square.
