"Great set-up. The apartments are clean. They also give bus passes to get into the village."

Canalta Hotel Lodge

"The staff and amenities were very nice. My only issue was the bathroom did not have a exhaust fan. Made bathroom smells linger (if you know what I mean). Otherwise, it is a wonderful property with a delicious breakfast and great underground parking. We walked downtown for our evening meals. It was less than a mile each way. Local buses are available but it is a nice walk if you are able. The hot tubs were wonderful. Saw some guests use the cold plunge but I only put my lower legs in and that was ENOUGH. From 4 to 7 pm they have s’more ingredients and skewers available to use at the courtyard fire pit. A very nice touch. Would definitely stay again. Just bring your odor masking spray with you."

"Roam transit pass included which was nice and we did use it (parking is $$$$ in Banff). The loft was actually bigger than we expected. We had 2 queen beds upstairs and 1 queen bed on the main level. Full kitchen. The loft was a bit stinky/musty when we first arrived - older property. But nothing too terrible. We didn’t end up using the pools but did have a nice time in the play zone. The actual structure definitely shakes… I’m not sure what safety inspections for it include. But it held up!"

"Had a great stay at Banff Aspen Lodge- location really convenient for exploring Banff and surrounding areas! Breakfast was good with lots of choice, and we welcomed the early start at 0630 am. The spa and sauna area was great after a long day exploring. Free car parking was a definite bonus. Good WiFi. Only one little niggle was sleep quality due to water pipe noise during night, but staff were v helpful trying to resolve."

"We and our pets had the most spectacular stay at this hotel. If you have the chance to book Gold status it makes all the difference. The staff and facilities were amazing. Yes the bathrooms are on the small side as this is a UNESCO property so there were limitations in how they could be designed. But everything else was phenomenal. There are so many people we want to thank from Hamish in the valet who greeted us by name! to Chamath, Caitlin, Katie, Georgia, Chris(also in valet) , Olivier, Shane and the best housekeeper Howard! We look forward to coming to visit Banff again as it is truly one of the most spectacular places to go!"

The Fox Hotel and Suites

10/10 Excellent
"Great location, room was clean and gave the 4 of us enough space, loved the separate sitting area. Gentleman at front desk (sorry can’t remember his name), was exceptional! Anything we needed, he was always so helpful and friendly!!! Quick to give us suggestions in the area, and just any tips advice we asked for. We were heading out one night for dinner and he ran to the back and grabbed 2 umbrellas for us and said we will definitely need them, without us even asking for one. Such a kind and warm gentleman!!!"
