The playground was a wonderful bonus for my little granddaughter, and the staff went above and beyond to make her weekend extra special. "Excellent location, right on the main street in Banff. Local tour companies make pick-ups here for Lake Millewanka, Sundog tours to the Coloumbia Icefield/Icefields parkway etc. The bus to the Banff Gondola stops close by too. I was able to leave my luggage (as I arrived early in the morning) and explore Banff. There are restaurants/cafes on site but I didn't use these. Rooms themselves were a bit dated and some simply re-arranging could improve them. Communal areas were much nicer. All staff were very helpful and one even gave me some local recommendations of what to do in Banff."
