The hotel was very clean and comfortable. In the restaurant, there were great choices on the breakfast menu, although the cost may be higher than families are willing to pay. The lobby had an Internet lounge, with several computers, as well as comfortable seating. The decor throughout was modern, with the Alaskan flavor. Overall it was a great facility.

Best staff I have ever encountered. Friendly, helpful and truly interested in making my stay pleasant.

The Captain Cook is always a first class experience, whether you are a traveller or business person. To find a quality hotel like this in such a remote location is such a joy. I enjoyed a fabulous meal at The Crow's Nest Restaurant at the top of one of the hotel towers. Such a wonderful meal, excellent service, and fine wine. I would recommend the Captain Cook to any discerning traveller.

Room and Hotel overall were superb. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was great. What else can I say.

For our needs, we could not have asked for more. The people were very friendly and helpful; the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained; the free breakfasts were nice, and the food we had at other times from the in-house restaurant (Tubby's) was very good. The Business Center made it easy to do web check-in and obtain our boarding passes for the flight home, and the in-room wifi also worked well. Finally, we preferred to stay in a place which had a somewhat "rustic" feel to it, and the Regency had enough of that to make it feel "Alaskan" without sacrificing comfort or quality. We would definitely stay there again!

This hotel is near by the river. Since it is also downyown, it is near by many of the business so you can walk to them fron the hotel. Also, there is a park within walking distance. Furthermore, the food offered in the restaurant of its basement is delicious.

We stayed in a small cabin on the creek which was modest, but clean and picturesque. Fellow travelers stayed in their new "Carlo House." That was excellent! It had everything we needed and was beautifully kept. We wish that it hadn't rained when we wanted to eat outside and have a campfire but the indoor wood stove sufficed. Would highly recommend!

It's a perfect stay for everyone. The room was quiet and from the property, fantastics views of the mountains.
