    "Amazing honeymoon"
We stayed here for three nights in October 2014 but wish it was more. The hotel and Waikiki itself were amazing. The hotel was about a 25 minute cab ride from Honolulu airport and yes, the hotel is a large resort in itself but well run and friendly. Upon check in, as advised on the website, we walked straight past the main reception desk where there weren't massive queues anyway, to the reception desk of the nearby Ali'i tower where we were booked. This was billed as the more exclusive tower and it certainly felt like it. It felt great to hear other people enquiring as to whether they could upgrade to this tower. We had an oceanfront room booked and were given one of the larger corner rooms as it was our honeymoon. It was amazing! The room was huge and had two separate balconies offering unobstructed views of the Pacific. There are a variety of bars, restaurants and shops within the resort and the town centre is only a short walk away. We were offered a discounted rate by reception for the breakfast buffet which we took for two mornings. The selection was great and the staff very attentive. Some previous reviews complain about the size and busyness of the resort. It was busy but the size of the place accommodates everyone perfectly and there are enough staff on hand to get on with things. We never waited too long for a table in the restaurants. This was our favourite hotel that we stayed at on our trip and would come back here without question.

    "Best Resort on Oahu!"
The staff at Turtle Bay is amazing. We arrived before check in and we were upgraded and allowed access to our room hours before our official check in time. The resort has been updated and has many wonderful features. Several pools and spas, beautiful grounds, a cove with lots of fish and turtles where you can snorkel and amazing ocean views. Turtle Bay is a very romantic and beautiful resort!

"Best bet for both your wallet and Maui experience!"
It is no secret that Ka'anapali beach is the GO-TO beach of Maui, so it's definitely a bonus if you are living RIGHT NEXT to it. Don't be fooled by the surrounding beaches - they are nice, but they aren't Ka'anapli beach. Double bonus-Black Rocks just a few minutes walk. KBH locates right along Ka'anapali beach, sandwiched between Sheraton Maui and The Whalers' Village (a tourist shopping mall). Black Rock is located outside of Sheraton Maui, hence you just have to walk to the hotel next door, and you are right there (5 min). Snorkling is best right next to Black Rock too, as it's almost a guarantee to see sea turtles and tons of fish (we saw sea turtles every time we went snorkeling next to Black Rock). The hotel staff is super friendly, and this really is the MOST HAWAIIAN HOTEL in Hawaii. More importantly, if you drive an electric vehicle, you will be glad to know that it has 4 Lv 3 EV Charging Stations on site (as per Maui EV rental source maps) - unfortunately, I wasn't able to verify since I wasn't renting a vehicle for this trip. Here's a little secret - food is super expensive in Maui esp. going for seafood (fish), but not with KBH (plus a 20% discount for guests), and it tasted quite good! Oh, they will give you a quick goodbye party with Hawaiian nuts necklace when you leave - isn't that nice? KBH also has tons of freebies and activities for kids too (plus a lot of free bottled water, a luxury in Maui), so they will enjoy the stay (my kids did).

    "Friendly and clean hotel"
It's our first time to Hawaii and this hotel make us feel very welcome. The room we stayed has very nice view, and it's very clean. It's worth to upgrade your room to makai room (lagoon tower) as they renovated these rooms tastefully. The price of food is very expansive and it is good idea to go to the nearby market to get your meals in between to save yourself some money.
