Seward is great for a relaxing staycation. This hotel offered me great view from the wide window. Room is clean and well decorated. Friendly staff and convenient access to lot of restaurants. Just little bit far from grocery stores.

We stayed here for one night as we traveled through Alaska. We were put into the historical wing which is codeword for hasn't been renovated or cleaned in decades. The room was full of dust, did not have hot water, sheets and pillows cannot say how clean they were, and the bathroom/shower is shared in the hallway. The shared bathroom/shower we were aware ahead of time. The photos are certainly misleading, and the price was not worth the accommodations. Other hotels are cheaper with better quality. Staff could not explain where additional parking was, just said it was up the road, but at night there is no clear signage. They said to just street park instead, but need to move the car by 8am. The surrounding areas of hotel seward are nice in the town.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. It was only a two min walk to all the restaurants and the Sealife Center. The room was very nice and clean and Paulette at the front desk was very nice and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit

Staff is always very helpful, we stay there every year after tourist season. very convenient location. The web site had it as pet friendly, staff was very helpful and friendly about this issue Next morning they told us that other 3 reservations had similar problems, web site had made mistake Still place is clean and love the ladies that take care of the front counter. The room was cute and clean (as pictured). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is optimal for visiting the Sealife Center, shopping, and dining options. It is a short walk to the waterfront. It is not located near the Seward boat harbor, but during peak season there is a trolley that stops near the hotel.
