« Hôtel bien placé a 5 minutes à pied du centre ville de Sanjo, à proximité de tous les magasins, à côté du quartion gion et à côté des temples, le métro et le bus sont également à proximité, l’hôtel est bien, propre, le personnel est accueillant sympathique et souriant, le petit déjeuner est bien également, la chambre est spacieuse et en terme de rapport qualité-prix nous n’avons pas du tout été déçu, on recommande et on reviendra »

« The hotel was so comfortable, welcoming and had all the desired amenities. We used the sauna which was really lovely addition to our stay and enjoyed the hotel shop too. It was in a peaceful area and the staff were always on hand to answer any questions and offer refreshments. We had seen a couple of negative reviews for this property prior to staying but our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Looking forward to returning in the future. »

« The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older... »

« Après plusieurs jours à voyager de villes en villes, nous cherchions une destination au calme pour nous reposer quelques jours. Nous avons trouvé ce ryokan à Oohara, à seulement 1h30 en bus (17) depuis la gare de Kyoto. Dans un joli coin de campagne, près d'une rivière, ce ryokan offre de belles prestations: les chambres traditionnelles sont confortables, les dîners et petits déjeuners, traditionnels du Japon rural, sont très bons et copieux. Les onsen (bains), extérieurs et intérieurs, offrent...

« This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. »

"Petite chambre mais bien équipée. J’ai fait toutes mes douches au Onsen qui est plus confortable que la douche XXS de la chambre mais c’est un standard au Japon. L’hôtel est bien situé proche du métro et des bus pour visiter Kyoto. Staff très serviable. Les chambres sont très bien nettoyées par le Housekeeping. "
