It was close to food and train. Room was a little small for two big suitcases. Room was clean, bed comfy.
The hotel has quite an old fashioned vibe which is quite nice for a change. The staff were excellent, the facilities were good although we didn’t use many. Starbucks directly across the street very convenient. Loved using the luggage transport service from tokyo to Kyoto and back.
Close to every transportation and famous spots Very nice and well trained staffs Good price and wonderful memories in Kyoto
Very nice hotel. Centrally located, close to shops and tube station. We had a nice and big room with a great view of the city. I will definitely choose it if I come back to Kyoto.
Although the room was small for two people with luggage, it was nice to be able to come back to a clean room with a comfortable bed at the end of the day. This hotel is in a great location with easy access to multiple subway lines and many activities like the Nishiki Market and the Nijo Castle and ...
Overall good but they need to change the hairdryer provided in the room.

The deluxe twin room was perfect for two (we were able to set our luggage down, which is rare in Japan!). The beds can be pushed together or seperated on the platform, so you can turn it into a huge ...
Very clean and good location of hotel, near slot of convince store and also 24 hour eatery. It’s also near teramachi with lot of shop and places to eat

Each day during our 3-night stay, we found more things to like about the Royal Park Shijo, from the thoughtful ...
