Horrible Experience — Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana Needs Serious Attention Our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana was extremely disappointing. For a hotel carrying the Hard Rock name and reputation, the condition of this property and the level of service were nowhere near the standards I would expect from an internationally recognized brand. The maintenance and overall condition of the buildings are not up to par. There are areas throughout the property that clearly need attention and investment. Hard Rock corporate seriously needs to send someone to this property to evaluate what is happening and bring the resort back up to the standards expected from the Hard Rock brand. The food quality was also disappointing. With the size and reputation of this resort, I expected much better quality and consistency. The customer service was one of the biggest problems. Staff generally seemed to do the bare minimum, and getting basic issues addressed was unnecessarily difficult. Our room was not cleaned for 3–4 days, despite us calling repeatedly every day to request housekeeping. That is completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. We also had significant problems with one of our rooms. The TV did not work and the phone did not work, meaning we couldn't even call the front desk from the room to report problems.
