We arrived on Sunday May 21st 2023 around 3:00pm, with a 7 months baby in our crew. We realized that we left one cell phone in the transport. Right away I called the Comp and in 15 min they were back with the phone and left it at the Front Desk. When we asked the person about it they send us across the lobby to ask for Cust. Serv Rep. That person sent us back to the Front Desk and about that time she knew already that the phone was there. Then we were sent back and for again. Them she went to the back and grab the cell asking us to follow her again and we were at that point upset and told her that we need our phone right away without no going any where else and then she waive her hands to us and said Whatever take your phone.. That was so no nice. After that I gentle approached her letting her know that was inappropriate reaction and she just pointed to her name and said ..."this is my name, do whatever you want".That was our entrance, if you don't count that the AC for 2 days was with problem and they never change our room no mater we asked for it. And the worse was the beach. Never imagined paying for a Resort with so bad quelaity and ugly beach. And then for that reason the pool was always full of peoples for the same reason. I was told that this Resort it's new, and even now we found a lot of situation like, a leaking water right on top of the toilet from the ruff, one of the LED light felt down,etc. Our room was # 7110 and 6128. Simple, NEVER AGAIN

Food was very average and the entire property has unsafe slippery floors when wet including in the rooms. Considering this a resort that caters for families/kids management should consider refurbishment. Beach is beautiful but chairs are old and uncomfortable.

Some things that happened during my stay. 1 key card didn’t work when first getting to the room. Staff that walked us up told us to go get it fixed. 2. Drunk person almost threw up on me at the pool and staff did not clean it up until the pool closed 4 hours later 3. Staff will follow you around trying to sell you spa packages and picture packages. Will even approach you while you’re in the pool or relaxing 4. Pool bars do not open until 10am, staff won’t tell you but will ignore you until open. Even if you want water 5. The restaurants are the best part, decent food but also has up charges for better food. Essentially i felt this resort was a money grab with rude staff

Food was great. This is a hotel to rest. There is no drink service in the pool or beach, which I am so used to it. I did not like going to wait in the bar to get a drink once in a while. Not many activities, we left the hotel at 8am and we had to take all of our bags with us with a 1 year old and a 5 year old. They said there was no cart service available to take our bags, nobody even tried to help us and we tip good. The "no mentally hotel I was calling it" I asked for a bottle of water to dissolve antacid and it was a no. I arrived and asked for a swim up room (which I booked and paid for) with a better view than to a construction site and I was told rooms are assigned and nothing they could do. So every morning I was up early because of the constant construction noise . They don't treat the Haitian employees nice. They scream at them in front of guest (we witness some and we said something) The Xpand people are super annoying, and tell you their spill takes an hour when it takes 3. Very pushy. We met some really nice people. Gabriel, Alberto Marylin (preggo) were amazing. They really touched out hearts, but I will definitely not be back to this hotel. When I go on vacation and I pay over $3500 to stay at a hotel. I expect service and luxury I don't get home. I am on vacation, and having to wake up early because of construction and having to wake up early and walk to the theater to make a restaurant reservation is not what vacation looks like to me.
