Kinda bad overall
Hi, I stayed at the Hilton in Cincinnati on december 4th and 5th. The experience wasn’t great. When I checked in I’ve been assigned a room that already had guest in it. I had to go back to the desk to get another one. The second room was bad with bath/shower clogged and even the sink was with black water coming out from the drain. There were also stains in many areas on the carpet. On sunday, I went back to explain and I got discounted price at 100$ a night for 2 nights so around 236$ total. I went back again to make sure I wouldn’t be charged for more since there were 3 charges on my credit card at that point. The person at the frontdesk told me everything would sort out by itself and not to worry. Now, a week later I have multiple charges on my credit card plus another pending charge. Can we please fix this and make it 236$ again. Thanks

Staff were extremely unhelpful. Were left to “figure out parking for yourself” and weren’t instructed where the hotel parking was/ was told there wasn’t any. The hotel was extremely busy and there were not enough working elevators, it took 15 mins to wait to get down to the lobby.

We loved the entire hotel. Updated charging stations for phone would be a good thing. Staff was amazing friendly knowledgeable very easy to work with. Perfect. We will return many timrs dont change a thing. Great place for family. Thank you James from the front desk who was very helpful.

Hotel is definitely not a 4 star. It’s more of a 3 stars. Hotel and a super downgraded. Rooms smelled humid and were muggy. Only good thing it was walking distance to Great American Ballpark

Busy weekend with a Reds game, Taste of Cincinnati and Memorial Day, yet there were only 2 people working check in. And apparently only one or two elevators working. We waited 30 minutes in line to check in. A Hilton property should be better prepared.

The hotel is a masterpiece of art and deco architecture. The location is great and convenient with many options of dining. The breakfast is good. The hotel and the hotel room could have some update, for example, the lighting design and bathroom can be renovated to the current style.

The a shower was very slow to warm for a shower. The room had a lamp did not work. the bath tub liner was very uncomfortable. Counter bath space was inadequate.

The check in was great. We ask for connecting rooms but it wasn't available, we were side by side. We had our daughter, 33 and her friend. The people in the room next to them were l loud, very very loud, they called security 2 times. They were told to quite down, the second time, security stood close by and they over heard the people yell, want us to be quite, here you go. And they got even louder, not sure what happened then. My daughter is fighting breast cancer and needed to rest. We told told front desk when we left. She put info on computer, so when you called they had everything you would need. We are requesting a refund. My daughter did not get the rest she needed so she ended up using wheelchair the rest of our day.

I had issues with the parking garage and the front desk said it was not something they could help me resolve because it was another company. My bed comforter was stained. Had to use the hand held shower head because the water flow was poor. Was confronted by a homeless person inside the entrance of the hotel. Now I found out I was charge $1.00 twice for what I don't know. The concierge was clueless and could not understand him.

While the hotel and staff were accommodating and nice, we paid for a king jacuzzi room and experienced no hot water in the jacuzzi, making the upgraded room a waste of money spent.

Overall a very nice 2 night stay in this classic hotel @ very inexpensive rates for reasons I’m not entirely clear. The reason it’s not a 5 star is because we called the front desk in the mid morning to report (1) our shampoo bottle was empty in the shower and (2) there was a reading light - light bulb - out by the bed. We were assured this would be handled during the day. We returned 12 hours later to the same issues!

The location was perfect for us. We could walk or take the free trolley everywhere we wanted to go. Only one staff person was helpful- the hostess at the restaurant acted as a concierge and gave us maps and directions. The front desk clerk when we checked in was NOT helpful in the least. Did not even tell us we had to use the room key to use the elevator or where to find baggage carts. Our room service tray from the first night was still in the hallway 2 days later. It took over 10 minutes for them to even answer the phone to place an order. Maid service was good.

This property needs a MAJOR RENOVATION! The Staff was very lack luster and were not able to help me with finding a blanket or connecting to the WIFI. I moved rooms twice to properly connect to the wifi but to no avail, I was never able to get on the internet. All of the shops in the basement were vacant. The hotel had potential but for the price I paid, potential isn’t enough.

The parking lot is disconnected, so there is a bit of travel from one building to another and a few elevator rides to get back to the hotel. The property is in what seems to be an abandoned mall. It gives creepy more than historic.

They did not have a mini suite room that I originally reserved available. They then gave me a downgraded room a larger size, two queen bed room, and charged me the same price. I wasn’t happy with being charged the same price for a downgraded room.

Worst property I’ve ever stayed in my life. Everything is severely outdated. Furniture, carpet, wallpaper, and fixtures were all from the plate 60s to early 70s. The bed was rockhard and old and everything had stains on it. The drapes did not open. The toilet was from a public school. And the shower never worked.
