"Room very spacious and clean. View of the lake may look different and better in the summer months but not great in winter. Had a problem with being charged twice that was not resolved but luckily my own bank sorted it out. "

"Staff weren’t the most friendly. My friend (diabetic) had an iced tea (nestea) at the hot tub for a sugar low, and the staff yelled at us as they accused us of having alcohol there. Not impressed. Also, they did not allow us to take the tunnel to the Fox anymore. It is still advertised you can use this. The chemicals and stuffiness of the hot tub at this location was burning our eyes, skin, and making us cough so we were hoping to go next door. We’ve stayed here at least 10x and this time wasn’t good. Won’t be back. "

"We had a wonderful time staying in fairmont chateau. Though the restaurants are expensive but you will get a 5 star service. Surely we will come back"

"Staff were excellent. Cozy lounge with fireplace for drinks in the evening. Dinner at the dining room was expensive but worth it--outstanding meal. Pool and large hot tub, very nice. Convenient door-to-slope shuttle service for skiing."
