Not a very positive stay
We were never able to turn the TV on as both the power button on both the TV and remote was broken.
Me and my sister ended up washing ALL of the bed sheets and towels on Friday night (we actually had to buy washing detergent) and cleaned the fridge. We were never able to use the stove due to the food in the bottom of it. Being able to cook and prepare food for 8 people was one of the reasons we booked a house instead of a hotel but we still ended up having a ton of takeout instead.
The garbage cans outside were always full the wasps were so bad that our children were almost stung. We were not able to use either the back deck or the back yard due to the garbage.
On the check in information, that we got, it said we had access to the garage, however the people renting the unit next door had both of their vehicles on the driveway and we were not able to get to the garage and therefore had to walk by the wasps each time we left or came back. There are piles of garbage in the garage and it stinks. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms and the toilets were plugged, luckily we had a plumber with us to help.
The house looks like it is not looked after at all and needs an update. We did contact the host as soon as we got there and sent her photos and texts in which she agreed that the house wasn’t ideal And in her words “looks neglected”. and offered us 1 night refund, but now is not responding to texts. I would not boom with this host again
