I stay at this hotel whenever I come to Edmonton. I’ve always had nice, clean rooms. Unfortunately this time I was placed in one of the worst places to have a room in this hotel: 2nd floor, between the stairs and elevator overlooking the front entrance - noisy. Instead of compensating for this, they place the beat up furniture and it doesn’t look like it’s been updated anytime recently. The dresser at the end of the beds, with the tv, had 3 drawers that refused to close so every time you walk by you need to dodge them. Unfortunately this lack of upkeep leads me to think that this hotel is going downhill and I need to look for a new place to stay.

The hotel looked nice from the pictures.the staff were nice and checkin was quick. The door to the hallway to our room was stuck every time you tried to open it. You had to kick the door to open it. The room was dated and in the bathroom, there was a lot of chips took out of the tub. The AC didn’t work properly so we couldn’t get our room cooled. The floor was upgraded so no dirty carpet. The hotel is next to the main road so you hear everything, sirens, trains, just traffic noise.

Poor customer service. I waited for a half hour for the front desk to respond to a request, then called back and was told I was not a priority. Don’t expect any service after you check in. Check in was incredibly slow. Despite showing confirmation and spelling last name several times, they had a hard time finding our reservation. Eventually they found it, but it took a LONG time and they didn’t seem to care much and it seemed like they were going to send me away. Blood marks were left on door. Room was okay, but nothing special. As we stay in Edmonton every month, we are looking for a new hotel closer on the south side rather than where we usually stay on the north side. We will definitely not be back nor will we recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was a great place to stay - very clean but ou room was SOOOOO hot even the air conditioning on. Our key cards didn’t work so we had to get them reprogrammed a few times.
