It was a short walk across the street to West Ed Mall, so easy access. It was clean and the free breakfast was good to get started. Pancakes, yogurt , juice, milk, coffee, cereal, toast, & boiled eggs. They were nice and offered a couple a discounted rate when they happened to mentioned they were going to the hospital. I would stay there again.

We arrived later in the evening, she said they gave us the last room and they still had 4 more people coming, so were overbooked? Our room AC was off so it was very hot and had a weird smell from the carpet. Room had no fridge. It’s dated but was clean apart from the weird smell. The parking lot is inadequate for the size of the hotel, so we had to park in overflow, which had me walking past addicts sleeping below the trees beside hotel and hunting on the lawns for cigarette butts and cans. The hotel advertises passes to the mall with your stay but I didn’t read the fine print that booking online with Expedia disqualifies a person for those discounts. The breakfast area was super small and didn’t accommodate anyone comfortably. The only option for hot food was a pancake machine and the line up was 10 people long for it, so cereal was the only actual option. There was some hardboiled eggs already peeled and rattling around in a puddle of water I guess a person could have eaten as well. We stayed 5 nights out of 7 in different accommodations in AB and this one was by far the most disappointing, it’s not awful, just lots of little things add up to a not great stay.

The convenient location of this property is worth the stay alone if you're doing all of the West Edmonton Mall things. The "continental breakfast" was less than desirable... hard boiled eggs, cereal, oranges and pancakes. It appears as if they transformed a hotel room into a breakfast room so not a lot of space. There were quite some characters outside throughout the day/night but this is no fault to the property. Would stay again.

This hotel is literally across the street from the West Edmonton Mall with controlled intersection to cross easily. Behind the hotel are neighborhoods and parks to walk your dog. The outside of the hotel is rundown and the carpers in the hotel need replacing. The room is very clean with laminate flooring throughout. The bathroom is clean and tiled. There is a small fridge in the room, good air conditioner/heater and the bed is comfortable with decent sheets and bedding. The room is a good size. The hotel was pretty quiet at night. They have a "continental breakfast" on the 3rd floor with just white bread and toaster, pancake machine, and boiled eggs. The hotel is fine for a night or two if you are here to experience the mall.

staff would not accommodate us. asked for towels and toilet paper he told me to go to the cart on our floor and get it. this cannot be done if you are travelling with a infant baby. there was a staff member down watching everyone eat their breakfast but their job was to “keep things stocked” but yet stood in the corner and watched you eat. will not be returning here every again. customer service is what keep’s customer from coming back again. 2/10.
