Beautiful Historical Hotel near the main Plaza.

This historical hotel was such a pleasure to stay in for two nights. I loved the history of the hotel, that in itself made our stay special. It was a short walk to central plaza and other places of interest.

Hotel Plaza Colonial is a gem. Very centrally located; one can walk to any place of interest in the Centro Colonial. The lovely pool area was an escape from the mid-day heat. There is no restaurant, but it's sister hotel, a block away, has a large dining room.

We had a nice, big room with view on the church. The hotel is directly in the historic centre, so everything is in walking distance (within 10-15 minutes). Nice to have a (small) pool after a walk.

Very comfortable stay. The hotel is spotless. The staff members are super friendly. The location is great to walk in the historic district. The parking garage is located in the rear. The pool is very clean as well as the public areas. My room had a balcony facing the street. I highly recommend it.

The Hotel Plaza Colonial was a great place to stay - its a beautiful place that is kept up well, the rooms are large & the beds are very comfy. Its not a budget level place but you get what you pay for! Great A/C & hot water!

Well located and comfortable hotel

Great secure on site parking with security. Front desk spoke English. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Shower had great water pressure. Right in centro and easy to walk everywhere. Did not have morning coffee or a restaurant. They only open the restaurant for large groups.
