The food is horrible and raw, burnt etc… Can’t find anywhere to sit around the pool cause you have to get a spot by 6 am even though there’s signs everywhere stating you can’t reserve! Flies all over food in buffet and i mean a lot of FLIES and Bugs coming out of your Food!!!! Never staying here AGAIN even if it’s Free!!

So crowded. People left cups everywhere. Not clean and long lines for the buffet. Staff were kind and attentive. Ended up having an ok dinner with great wait staff but no AC and super hot.

Would not recommend. Room service was unfriendly. Limited English spoken. Our room chairs and sofa had stains on them. Shower was broken in our first room. Door of shower wouldn’t close. Buffet didn’t have a lot of options. Overall 2 out of 5 stars at best.

It was clean, food was good, but drinks were very watered down. For dinner you need “casual clothes.” They don’t allow beachwear. Not even a cute cover. This is at the buffet and restaurant.

The only option for breakfast was buffet. Most the trays were empty. I never got bacon 3 days in a row because it was just a tray of grease and bacon bits floating around. All 6 days i couldn't get a spot in shade around the pool because other guests would throw their towel or flip flop or hat on a chair and leave for half the day when it clearly shows that is not allowed. I asked for assistance and waited over an hour for the pool concierge to contact me to find a spot. By then we gave up on the pool and reserved another hotel for the evening. Westin puerto vallarta was a 10 out of 10 for the one night there. It was night and day difference between the two hotels. Will never come back to Krystal grand and definitely not recommend it to anyone. Also i forgot to mention mold around the ac vents, and constantly being approached for our free "welcome breakfast and two massages". Openly trying to get you to sis through their timeshare speel.

Bad food in buffet and restaurants, really dirty glass for drinks, AC not really working in the room, it was 28 degrees in the room, broken fan in the room never came to fix in 6 days. No AC in any restaurant and it was 40 degrees. It’s a really old hotel and was probably great once but not any more.

My family stayed for 4 nights and the experience was good overall. Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The only area of improvement we observed was the quality of the drinks and the night entertainment.

Booking through Expedia was really nice. We were guided downstairs for VIP check in. If we had any issues we would just go talk to them and they would fix the issues as fast as possible. The activities at the hotel were okay. They had a movie night which was really nice for the family. The buffet didn't really change, it was good compared to other hotels.

It was an ok stay. Food is good, however buffet area has no ventilation and buffet is really small compared to other resorts. Hardly any enterainment. Does not have a club. There is a sky bar wich they open sporadically. You cant have loud music at the sports bar area. Pool entertainment could be better. There needs to be music at the pool at all times. Not certain days of the week. There is alot of cockraoches around the hallways. Some guest claim there was roaches in there room aswell.
