"Beautiful and calm cabin. It was a blast!"

"The world’s worst driveway, followed by a steep and long path that makes taking anything heavy from your vehicle into the cabin a real pain as parking is up the hill from the cabin. Sure it’s a large property but it’s also all on a steep slope. Add this to the fact that Vrbo is a 3rd party booking service which means communication to the host is a frustrating ordeal. The only positives are the back deck which is peaceful and the view from the bedroom. I would never stay here again."

"We had a fabulous time in Idyllwild! The small-town vibe, the kindness of the locals, and the spectacular hikes did not disappoint. Our host, Heather, went above and beyond by upgrading us to a larger property because she thought the cabin we originally booked would be too tight for four people. We truly felt like VIPs in the main house. Everything was top-notch, beautifully kept, and felt incredibly homey. Check-in and check-out were completely seamless thanks to the keypad system. "We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Lighthouse. We especially loved the location at the ridge line close to hiking and the great views out every window!"

"Beautiful spot, as advertised, at a great spot. Could not have asked for better"

"Excellently located to both secluded solitude as well as downtown adventures. I would recommend this place and stay again myself. "

"Very pleased with this property overall. We left the Palm Desert to get out of the heat, mission accomplished! We noticed on the listing that the home was air conditioned and it die have 2 portable room air conditioners vented outside. It was extremely warm and a couple of box fans would have helped circulate the cool air. Other than that, we really enjoyed this property…highly recommend!"

"Beautiful, well-maintained cabin in a thoughtfully designed property. Great location near the village of shops and restaurants and although off a main road, very private and quiet. As a vacation rental owner myself I appreciate the excellent communications, smooth check-in/out process, high design and good quality linens and furnishings, etc. Such a wonderful and serene setting to recharge!"

"Beautiful place, definitely will be back"

"Perfect"

"The cabin was clean, and just what we needed for a brief stay. Easy in, and the host was very accessible and responsive. I wish we could have stayed a few more days !"

"Beautiful setting in the mountains with gorgeous views from the wraparound deck and main living area. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and even helped us with our luggage as she was in the area when we checked in. We rented over the 4th of July weekend to avoid the fireworks and it was totally silent! Great weekend!"
