"Great location but busy at weekends"
Location is perfect and unusually with easy walking to most of down town Palm Springs. Nice room with good balconies facing pool or town. Great pool and plenty of loungers. Friday & Saturday the whole place changes - It is Party City, often with pool parties, loud groups and thus noise late into the night. I am not saying that is a bad thing depending on what you like but it almost feels like a different place. The plus points is you feel like you are staying at the most happening place in PS and the pool bar is open. The downside is you room will not be cleaned till 4pm the next day and it might be too crowded and loud by the pool. The room price is also sky high on a Saturday night.

No room service. No breakfast or dining area. No bar soap for bathing. Luckily, I usually carry bar soap in my luggage. Face bowel was leaking in the bathroom. Parking lot was closed for three days.

"Great Hotel"
We usually stay at the Hilton because of our member points; however the Renaissance was much better! I would definitely stay here again. They have a free shuttle service that took us anywhere we wanted to go and they picked us up when we were done shopping or having dinner late at night. Definitely a huge plus point. The hotel pool and lounge area is beautiful and it was wonderful staying here. A couple of missteps on the part of the hotel's staff: When we checked in at almost midnight, both of the front desk clerks were more concerned with some other hotel business than getting us checked in, and the front desk phone doesn't work, which didn't seem to get sorted out for the 5 days we were there. A bit annoying when you want to ask for a hotel shuttle and you can only just barely hear them. Also, there was a large chunk of broken glass in the corner of our room (where the coffee machine is located) and I waited all 5 days to see if the cleaning crew would notice it, but they never did. When we checked in at midnight there was a tray with left over food and drinks outside one of the rooms, when we left early in the morning it was still there and stinking up the entire passage. These minor issues did not impact our stay and we all agreed that we would definitely choose this hotel for our next visit to Palm Springs.

"Nice hotel, close to my family and restaurants"
My room was comfortable, however, I didn't locate the black out curtains until the second night, so I was uncomfortable with the outside lights shining in. Also, I could hear people walking above me, I was on the second floor and also the shower and bathroom fan from the rooms next to me.

" Nice hotel. Staff was excellent and very helpful."
Nice. Average. Clean. Staff was super friendly. It would be nice to have more variety as far as restaurant hours the menu go. We did have a light out over the shower and on top of the vanity. Which we mention on numerous occasions on our five-day stay. Was never handled. It was OK. Not sure I would stay here again. The pool accommodations made the stay worthwhile. I feel like a fresh coat of paint would go along way.
