Pros and cons, but too many cons for my book. Pros, property is beautiful, staff is friendly for the most part, the grounds were well kept. Cons, half a fingernail and random garbage (a plastic ring from a soda cap) left on the floor of the room along with dead mosquitos in the bathroom on the floor, no soap or shampoo in the shower, sticky stains on both sides of the two different cushions on the couch (to the point that we opted not to sit on it after flipping the cushion and seeing stains on both sides) and the coffeemaker had coffee and a brew pack still in it from the previous guests. No resort fees, great, $20/day for parking, not the greatest but tolerable… inquired about a cabana rental on a weekday and was told $150… which as a guest paying nearly that much for a room, seems a bit excessive… this must be why all but one sat vacant all day. Definitely won’t search out to stay here again but would…if I had to. One other note I wish I had known, received a notice before checkout (In starts at 4pm, kinda late, and out at 10am, kinda early) saying that after checking out we were welcome to use the facilities for the rest of the day and hold luggage at check in.
