"Inexpensive, nice staff, old amenties"
Inexpensive, nice staff, old amenties, parking garage nearby - great if you just need a place to sleep for 6-8 house and grab a shower. Not fancy in any way.

"Two nights with two hot days"
Parking is my only complaint for the motel, they made the spaces small to fit as many cars as possible. I know it is SF. Luckily, the stall next to my passenger side was empty, when I needed to leave. The air conditioning kept the room cool during the 90° days. It seems they recently remodeled the room. It had hardwood floors, a 3 way adjustable shower, microwave and fridge.

"Worked for what we needed "
This is the second year booking this hotel. It works for the areas we need to be in for the weekend. I don't expect perfection or a 5 star hotel. So the comfort level was good. Facilities were good. No issues to make and big deal about.

"Nice hotel, very close to Sausalito :)"
Really nice, clean, quite hotel, very close to a tourism area. The room was very clean, the bath also, better than some 3+ stars hotels.

"One word answer: Value"
This is not a chain hotel and shouldn't be compared to one. The reason people are looking at this hotel is because it is so much more affordable than most other SF/Market Street properties. You might say, "you get what you pay for," but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was very nervous about what I would find when I arrived. The street entrance to this hotel is a bit shocking. It is on a noisy street 1/2 block from Market street and the area is very heavily frequented by homeless. You buzz a doorbell to be let in. You proceed up a flight of stairs to the lobby that also makes you question your decision as it looks like you are checking in at a Money Gram/Check Cashing store. Then things change. The staff was very friendly. They explained things well and set the expectations right up front. Walking into the room we found it to be clean, bright, recently painted. Minimalist for sure, but everything you need to sleep and feel clean and safe. Yes you have shared showers and bathrooms, but that doesn't equate to not private. The bathroom and showers are one person at a time use. Others have commented about the noise. Our room was on 6th Street and I swear the Emergency services love that street. Sirens and honking horns are a constant. The pillows are teeny and I wish they had more (though I also didn't make a request, which I bet they would have provided). Daily maid service was good. All in all. This was an excellent value for the budget minded traveler

Given a consideration to check in 30 minutes earlier. It helped me and my wife to have a temporary place away from the comfort of our home.

"Pride at the Taylor"
This hotel was exactly what we expecting. The price was great for a very busy weekend in San Fran. It was clean and the staff was great. It is not a fancy place but it was a comfy bed and conveniently located in walking distance to most things. The noise level is what you would expect from being in a busy city...sirens, traffic and occasionally some loud people but nothing crazy. There was a mini fridge and microwave in our room but there are so many amazing restaurants within minutes.

"Adequatef or our needs"
Close to tour bus stop and areas we wanted to visit. When we arrived early, we were allowed to park in an area with limited parking which was very considerate of the Inn keeper. He was also very helpful with telling us

"All in All not too bad"
The place was very clean and fairly quiet. I don't think I would stay there for a vacation with my wife and kids, but for a business trip it was more than adequate. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations provided. No coffee pot but the refrigerator and microwave were very convenient. Internet access was reliable and fairly fast for a motel.
