I was shocked that I wasn't supposed to do laps in the pool because it's an ' infinity pool' and not a 'lap pool'. I thought that was stupid. If there's a pool I'd like to use it for swimming and not just for standing in it. I had the impression that the lady in charge of the pool area didn't feel like cleaning up the water. It also occurred strange to me that you can order some food and champagne in the pool area but not coffee or tea. Weird. I also missed hooks in the bathroom to hang things on.

"Nice Hotel- wrong time of year!"
Unfortunately for my husband and I the bay area was getting hit with multiple storms so our ocean view wasn't much. We were provided with wood for our fire making the evenings cozy and warm. The hotel is next to a few good restaurants as well. My biggest complaints would be having a room who's toilet made sounds (a leak?) waking you up if you're not a sound sleeper. The continental breakfast is just that. Could be more substantial and the coffee stronger :) but that's my preference. Other than that the staff is very nice and accommodating. I would suggest a less rainy time of year .

"Exquisite Hotel"
Beautiful hotel. Spacious rooms, very clean & turn down service with chocolates. The bed & pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept on! Incredible view! Room service very expensive...may want to get your morning coffee elsewhere. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious! Fresh bottles of water provided daily.

"Excellent location "
The hotel is in an excellent location for anyone who wants to go shopping and even walk to the ferry building. We were promised a room with the Cityview, our view was of the building next-door. The early check-in (10 AM) made up for the lack of our view. My complaint is that you could hear our neighbors above us. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would strongly recommend it primarily because of its location.
