"Nice surprise"
Cost was a consideration in my choice and I was a little apprehensive about how the hotel would work out. They put me in a ground floor room looking out on a very nice Japanese garden. Cool. Great bed, large room, 3 tvs, great shower room with a separate soaking tub. I didn't get a chance to try the food but would highly recommend the property!

"Nice Hotel in Union Square"
The hotel was really nice with friendly employees and great food. The Bartenders Lewis and Chris were fun to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. Overall a great experience.

"GREAT LOCATION-Nice Room=GREAT STAFF "
Unlike chain brand hotels, this is a unique hotel in a great location. I could not be happier with the Staff they were very pleasant during our stay, extremely helpful with directions and public transportation questions. After my stay i realized i had left a valuable item in my room, i contacted the hotel staff and the item was returned to me promptly.

"Good location"
Nice hotel in a central location. Check in was quick and painless. Junior rooms are quite small, and after a few small issues, we were upgrades to a king room and the comfort was much higher, so might be worth the extra money if you're after a little more space. The hotel has a rather noisy bar, but it's not too intrusive on sleeping. Breakfast is quite good, a fairly good choice. I'd definitely consider staying again if we get the chance to visit San Francisco again.

"Great location, historical charm, helpful staff"
Cavallo Point, although very expensive per night, is in a great location right beside the Golden Gate bridge. It has historical charm as it was once military housing, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again when in the area. Bathroom fan was not working during our stay, reported to staff member. Love the wine in the afternoon/early evening and coffee and croissants/muffins in the morning. Needs more parking for those wanting to self park.

The image of San Francisco’s fog-swept waterfront will stick with you long after you head for home.

Head out into the fog and visit the Ferry Building Marketplace, located along the Embarcadero on the northeastern side of the city. Not only is this the main artery for ferry traffic heading into the city, it’s also home to a wonderful farmers market full of fresh local produce, meats, and much more. You can sit down for a delicious breakfast, or stock up on goods to bring back to your hotel for later consumption. As the fog lifts, go west to the Marina District. Here’s where you’ll find upscale shopping, along with a beautiful waterfront park and a view of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Any trip to the big city means a visit to Union Square is in order. It’s not just a great place for shopping, though the square is home to many prominent boutiques and department stores. It’s also full of restaurants and cafes, and there’s always something going on, including a Christmas tree and menorah lighting during the winter and art shows in the summer. The magic continues in a San Francisco boutique hotel; when you stay in one, you’ll enjoy custom styling, little touches like unique artwork, and meals cooked from locally grown produce.

No matter what time of year you decide to travel, Expedia.ca will get you there with big savings. You’ll get our Best Price Guarantee when you book a hotel in San Francisco, leaving you with more money in your pocket to spend on the important things like another fine meal at Union Square.
