"Taking Daughter to College Trip"
We found this hotel on the University of San Francisco's web site as one of their hotels they have an arrangement with, close to campus and we used as we moved our freshman into the dorm. Would definitely stay again. The rooms were great, and the neighborhood is fun with tons of places to eat.

Largely very satisfactory experience. Pleasant, helpful service, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed room. Thorough facilities and amenities. Two complaints: At a facility of such quality and price, there should be no charge for in-room WIFI and no charge for business center use. These shortcomings are mostly obviated by the use of a personal iPhone WIFI hotspot and personal tablet, but they're still somewhat unwelcoming.

"Wonderful Staff"
The hotel is on the quirky side which is no bad thing as it made it more interesting that the run of the mill hotel. However, the quirkiness tended to over rule the need for functionality. Our room 506 had only one bedside table necessitating the need to use a chair as the other bedside table. Additionally there was no mirror in the bedroom only one above the sink in the bathroom. This meant waiting for the bathroom to become free before getting dressed successfully when leaving for the day or going out in the evening. Having said this we would return because the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is in the heart of the city.

"Charming hotel near everything"
The Kensington is a sweet old hotel, done in a Tudor style. It has been updated and the rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. It is a great location, right off Union Square. Staff are friendly and they serve sherry and tea in the afternoon to accompany the pianist who plays in the lobby.

"Good Hotel"
The hotel is in a great location, it's only 2 blocks from union square and very close to the shopping district. The area is the only negative aspect, since it's in the tenderloin district. My advise is when you leave your hotel just make a right and never go left and you will be ok. Other than that the staff is excellent and free coffee in the morning is a plus.

"Nice boutique hotel at quiet and convenient area"
Stayed this hotel by choosing mystery hotel to try something new that I would never book by myself, as I I tend to choose hotel chains with steated quality such as Starwood, Hilton, or Marriott. I enjoyed my stay at this stylishly renovated boutique hotel in terms of hotel amenity and service offered, as well as warm and welcoming hotel staff member. It was relaxing and seamless stay and I would probably come back without a discount rates. For the hotel amenity: Access to the spa that has sun deck with view and dining service was great. Drinks, fruits, magazines are available, and facility is well maintained. Turn down service was appreciated. Room amenity was very enriched, I found to be much better than the big hotel chains. Only thing that was not pleasant about this hotel is that I had ezuma? breakouts and redness though out my body after jacuzzi and pool, which gotten worse by next morning...

The image of San Francisco’s fog-swept waterfront will stick with you long after you head for home.

Head out into the fog and visit the Ferry Building Marketplace, located along the Embarcadero on the northeastern side of the city. Not only is this the main artery for ferry traffic heading into the city, it’s also home to a wonderful farmers market full of fresh local produce, meats, and much more. You can sit down for a delicious breakfast, or stock up on goods to bring back to your hotel for later consumption. As the fog lifts, go west to the Marina District. Here’s where you’ll find upscale shopping, along with a beautiful waterfront park and a view of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Any trip to the big city means a visit to Union Square is in order. It’s not just a great place for shopping, though the square is home to many prominent boutiques and department stores. It’s also full of restaurants and cafes, and there’s always something going on, including a Christmas tree and menorah lighting during the winter and art shows in the summer. The magic continues in a San Francisco boutique hotel; when you stay in one, you’ll enjoy custom styling, little touches like unique artwork, and meals cooked from locally grown produce.

No matter what time of year you decide to travel, Expedia.ca will get you there with big savings. You’ll get our Best Price Guarantee when you book a hotel in San Francisco, leaving you with more money in your pocket to spend on the important things like another fine meal at Union Square.
