"Worth a look"
A nice looking Italian restaurant and a sheek lobby are inviting, and the staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. The "deluxe king" rooms are tiny, which is fine except that there is no dresser to put clothes in. Overall, there's solid value in the location and overall feel of the hotel.

"Very nice clean hotel. No bed bugs"
He loved our stay in this hotel. Tall Tall ceilings. It felt like you were a guest in someone's home in the late 1800's. Very fun place to stay out of the ordinary and location is good. Parking available. Loved it!

Very nice and quaint hotel in Union Square close to everthing. If you get a room facing the street bring ear plugs otherwise you will not get any sleep. Would definitely stay here again. The restaurant connected to the hotel is very good as well.

"Wonderful weekend"
Greeted by a wonderful front deck person (Mark) who gave us a few options and made the whole stay all the more wonderful. Excellent facilities, clean room/bath, great view, comfy bed and FANTASTIC bar & restaurant called The Big 4. Didn't have dinner but did hit is a few times for cocktails and will certainly get dinner next time. We will be back!

Unlike chain brand hotels, this is a unique hotel in a great location. I could not be happier with the Staff they were very pleasant during our stay, extremely helpful with directions and public transportation questions. After my stay i realized i had left a valuable item in my room, i contacted the hotel staff and the item was returned to me promptly.

"Very old world San Francisco"
Loved how quaint this hotel was with the bench in the elevator and the eclectic customers. Plus it was in an incredible location to Union Square, stores, great restaurants and even has a theater in the hotel itself. The rooms are not that big but I loved the fan and the temperature was always perfect.

This hotel is located near to union square. The room is nice and cozy. Parking is a bit expensive at the hotel itself (only vallet), however there are some garages nearby within a block or two at cheaper rates.

The image of San Francisco’s fog-swept waterfront will stick with you long after you head for home.

Head out into the fog and visit the Ferry Building Marketplace, located along the Embarcadero on the northeastern side of the city. Not only is this the main artery for ferry traffic heading into the city, it’s also home to a wonderful farmers market full of fresh local produce, meats, and much more. You can sit down for a delicious breakfast, or stock up on goods to bring back to your hotel for later consumption. As the fog lifts, go west to the Marina District. Here’s where you’ll find upscale shopping, along with a beautiful waterfront park and a view of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Any trip to the big city means a visit to Union Square is in order. It’s not just a great place for shopping, though the square is home to many prominent boutiques and department stores. It’s also full of restaurants and cafes, and there’s always something going on, including a Christmas tree and menorah lighting during the winter and art shows in the summer. The magic continues in a San Francisco boutique hotel; when you stay in one, you’ll enjoy custom styling, little touches like unique artwork, and meals cooked from locally grown produce.

No matter what time of year you decide to travel, will get you there with big savings. You’ll get our Best Price Guarantee when you book a hotel in San Francisco, leaving you with more money in your pocket to spend on the important things like another fine meal at Union Square.
