"Upgraded"
Purchased a room with a king sized bed. When we reached our room it had two doubles. Called down. And instantly upgraded us to a suite looking out of the ball park. Great time!

"Full featured hotel in the heart of downtown."
The hotel met or exceeded our needs for two adults and two grandchildren. The washroom was small but functional. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. While Valet parking was expensive at $45.00, it was prompt and permitted in and out privileges. While checkout was at noon, it also permitted us to park until 4:00 p.m. This allowed us to attend an afternoon Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre (walking distance) without having to move the car until after the game.

"A quick midweek trip"
This hotel has been completely remodeled and is beautiful. The rooms are bright and the beds are comfortable. I DO have an issue with the duvet and sheet on a bed. I either freeze or roast! But, I know it's a more sanitary situation than the old blanket and bedspread. The pillows are extremely soft, and great if that's what you prefer. (I like a firm pillow.) The only issue right now is the MAJOR construction going on around the hotel. It will be wonderful when it's done, but for now, it's a pain. We will stay here again for sure. It's close to the ball game and the lake.

    Beach Hotel Guide in Toronto

A day at the beach with the iconic CN Tower in the background? Oh yes, beaches in Toronto give you a playful juxtaposition of sand and skyscrapers. After a day amongst the busy city streets and speeding multi-coloured taxis, some waves and sunshine are just the things to mix it up. Woodbine is the city’s most popular beach, as it’s a great spot for a round of volleyball. Bluffer’s Point, bounding in by the famous Scarborough Bluff’s on the northside, is a must for a good walk to go along with some swimming. If you’re bringing Fido in tow, Cherry Beach (also called “Clarke Beach”) has an open area for leash-free fun. For something on the tranquil side, Balmy Beach is one of the quieter of the beaches, which makes it a perfect spot for a few hours of serene tanning. If tan lines aren’t for you, Hanlan’s Point is the favourite clothing-optional spot in town.
