“everything is good”
good good
“Convenient, but a little dispointed”
CN tower is just right behind. Very convenient but the parking is expensive. Nothing special in the hotel, so a little disappointed. The pool was under construction, so we need to go to the Fairmont one block away for the swim. After I went there, I think next time Fairmont could be a better choice.
“Fantastic experience”
My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price! We had our room upgraded when we arrived by a very friendly clerk. The room was beautiful and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and a big screen tv! The bathroom was average, but the supplies were well stocked. The room had a lovely view and the lobby was very elegant. The hotel is located in a very convenient part of Toronto and was accessible to everything we were hoping to see during our weekend away. Parking was a little pricey, but so is everywhere in downtown Toronto!
“Good location, simple service”
Hotel is very centrally located - right behind the CN Towers and Rogers stadium and beside the Union Station. Drove there and had a hard time identifying the hotel with its lack of street signage. Found the valet service a little weird as you stop by the side (much like a cab) along Front street which was very busy. The check in counter was even worse without any signs and ended up at the wrong counter the first time round. The room was rather simple and lack an expectation of a luxury touch. Overall I would have compared the hotel to any other common ones like Best Western or Holiday Inn and definately not worth the premium price tag.
“Beautiful City & Hotel”
When we go back to Toronto this will always be the hotel we will stay at. The hotel was beautiful, the city very clean and over Huge but a beautiful City.
“Intercontinental”
Is a great hotel, only downside is that the underground parking lot is a bit of a chore to get to the actual hotel. No elevators, not really very good signage if you get into the lower levels. Other than that service was very good and the hotel cleanliness was very good.
“Downtown Convenient”
This hotel is convenient to the financial/theatre district. Nothing very special about it though. Expensive parking, nice breakfast buffet, comfortable rooms but that's standard in most hotels in the area. I've stayed here before and if the price was right i would again.
“amazing time in an amazing hotel”
Check in was quick and easy, room was easy to locate and well kept, overall appearance and feeling of hotel was welcoming, staff were kind and helpful, food in the lounge was outstanding and I cant imagine my stay could have gone any smoother.
“Will not go back unless I have to. Marriots are a much better stay!”
I found this hotel overpriced and underserviced. My room was frigid and I had to sleep in my clothes. I stay in hotels at least 5x per month so know how to work the HVAC. Room wasn't cleaned even though I left the hotel for 8 hours and then had to wait to get ready for a dinner while they cleaned the room. Everyone is very helpful but systems are old and antiquated.
“Nothing Special”
Nothing special. Hated bathroom, showers so weak. Never felt comfortable. Tried their spa, waste of money. Massage was terrible. Only offered 30 mins, very basic. Great location, but there are plenty of other 4 star hotels nearby worth checking out. Was there a week before Christmas and the place was so dead. Never a good sign.
