“Very convenient location”
Excellent hotel very conveniently located. Easy to walk to most places downtown. Easy access to underground walkways.
“Perfect”
Had it all.
“Would definitely stay here again.”
Room service meal was very good and prices reasonable. Very good location, easy walking distance to shopping, theatre and restaurants.
“Home away from Home”
My husband and I spent 2 nights at 1 King Street West. Our superior suite had a mini kitchen with mini frig, utensils, dishes, small appliances, dishwasher and a small washer and dryer. It was quite roomy. The bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower. The space on the vanity was quite small and didn't accomodate all of our toilettries. The entrance was on a small side street. Thanks to an observant valet, he guided us into the dropoff area and out of the horrendous Friday afternoon traffic on Yonge Street. We would definitely look at 1 King Street again for our next Toronto getaway.
“Absolutely Amazing”
Suites on 1 King West is an absolutely amazing hotel. The rooms are GEORGOUS and comfortable. The service was probably the best I have ever received in any hotel I have stayed in, in the city. The staff is friendly, courtious and hard working. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone I know and I will definitely return to this hotel in the future
“Excellent location, great room”
Only there one night, but I loved the stay. Another frequent traveler from Vancouver stays there every time in Toronto. Very helpful staff, great location. Not sure when my room was remodeled, but it was all new, and beautifully appointed. Oddly, the stairwells were unfinished--maybe that's how recently the room was done. Highly recommend this hotel when downtown in Toronto.
“Great Location, Great Hotel”
Excellent hotel, scored a great rate through Expedia. We go to Toronto in February each year for great hotel rates, and this hotel was the best we've experienced. Be sure to follow the hotel's directions to arrive at front entrance. Hotel's entry is surrounded by scaffolding, and is not easy to find. Once you're inside, you are really self-sufficient. Great eats, and you must catch a hockey game in "The Vault" - the hotel was a bank in a previous era, and they've converted the old bank vault into a bar. Very cool. The only negative we experienced was water pressure, specifically showering. Sunday morning it had improved. May have been a timing issue with other's showering schedules. The Undergound is connected to the hotel, along with subway, making winter shopping and sightseeing convenient. Our room was the closest to the elevator, yet we never heard anything after 11pm.
“Beautiful hotel”
Wonderful service; excellant accomodations! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Genial”
“Great hotel, great service, great location”
If you are staying in downtown Toronto you have to stay here. There is simply no better place for the money. We received an outstanding deal with a level of service you would get at a much more expensive hotel. The room was extemely clean, the valet staff was quick and friendly (They even cleaned the inside of my car)and the location is as central as it gets. On our next trip to Toronto we will definately be staying there again!
