“Great location - all the services you need!”
Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.
“Ddowntown Gal”
The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Toronto. The room was very modern and clean and comfortable. The only downside was no room service. I have stayed there on several occasions.
“Good value for the price, but small”
I was in Toronto for a 2 day business trip, so I didn't spend a whole lot of time at the hotel. The rooms are really small, but functional. My stay was fine, particularly since I wasn't expecting a whole lot of amenities. I would have rated this a 4 overall, but I found a bunch of debris from a previous guest under sink, which never did get cleaned up. Kind of gross, even though it was just socks and a plastic lid or two. Pros: Location is convenient to The Path, making getting around pretty easy, particularly when it's raining. Good restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed. Cons: The heating was hard to control--either too hot or too cold. Wonder about housekeeping's attention to detail. Only one ice machine, and it's on the basement level.
“A Terrific Moderately Priced Toronto Hotel”
While visiting Toronto recently I searched for a conveniently located downtown boutique-style hotel, the type I prefer because I enjoy personalized service. I found the Hotel Victoria mentioned in a travel guide and while researching it found several positive reviews from former guests. On arrival I was immediately favorably impressed with the location, the friendly service accorded me by the staff and the tastefully decorated and clean room. The room was on the small side but adequate for my needs, comfortable and well appointed. I was traveling alone but it would have been adequate for a couple. The rate was more than reasonable and a good value. The hotel is conveniently located in the financial district, a block from a subway station and surrounded by excellent restaurants and coffee shops. I will definitely stay there on future trips to Toronto and recommend Hotel Victoria without reservation.
“Good price but”
Good price but its right on busy Yonge Street so if you have a room facing the street, you'll hear all the noise. The toilet is very badly positioned so that you have to sit sideways. Front desk service is hit and miss depending on who you get. The good points are that the rooms are very contemporary and quite stylish. Its also nice to have the wood floors and the location is excellent if you want to be near Front Street.
“Great boutique hotel”
While parking a few blocks away can be an inconvenience, the fact that no car really needed in Toronto made it just fine. Hotel recently renovated with very modern looking rooms in old building. Although there are no views - buildings are stacked together - found the whole experiencing charming. Loved the locale. Would definitely stay here again.
“Great Hotel for a Great Price!”
Staff was excellent. They took care of everything. Nice to have the breakfast/lunch restaraunt downstairs. All very friendly. Right near Hockey Hall of Fame was a plus.
“What a nice surprise!”
We booked a deluxe twin queen room. The location was was great, rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Parking was just around the corner and a great spot for breakfast located right behind the lobby. We will be back!!
“Beautiful room”
Beautiful room, great location
“Comfortable hotel in downtown for an amazing price”
I LOVE this hotel. It's in the heart of downtown. It's close to the CN Tower, Rogers Centre(Skydome), Air Canada Centre, Dundas Square, Union Station, and all other means of transit. The rooms are newly renovated , and extremely comfortable! I will definitely be back to stay at this hotel!
