“Excellent Lounge Great Location”

We only stayed one night but it was great the Restuarant in the lobby was fantasic the Lounge was great ,,,, kudos to the bar tender the drinks were fabulous and the service was nothing less than fantastic ,,, the location was perfect for our visit , our room was clean and the staff was pleasant ,, great place to stay !! would definitely stay again ..

“Excellent Choice”

This hotel is an excellent choice for overnight layovers. The shuttle came to pick us up promptly and check in was quick and easy. Our room was great and well stocked with everything we needed. The hotel itself was very quiet so we got a good night's rest.

“Will saty there on our next trip east !”

We were thrilled with the hotel ! It is relatively new, the room was beautiful and the desk clerks were friendly and courteous. We had the buffet breakfast included in our room rate and the brekkie was amazing ! Great choices, and omelettes and eggs made to order. Fabulous all around and so convenient to the airport and the shuttle service was great also ! No Complaints ! Wish I could have stayed another night !

“Good hotel- helpful staff”

I stayed at the HGI recently in July 2011 for 1 night. The hotel's shuttle did not come to pick me up even after calling the hotel- I waited for 45 minutes- the shuttle of the adjacent Holiday Inn took me to the hotel. Be sure to call for the shuttle when you reach the airport, and then double check. When I mentioned this issue at the hotel when checking in, the guy (Joey) gave me a room upgrade (suite) and a complementary breakfast coupon- sweet ! The hotel room was comfortable, had good toiletries (Neutragena) and the 24 hr shuttle was convenient and available thereafter. There is a convenient downtown connection from the airport (take the Rocket) but it takes one hour. Normal checkout time is 11am, but they extended it to 1230pm on my request. Overall, I had a good experience.

“Very Impressed”

Stayed only one night but was very impressed with the hotel itself (only 5 months old at the time of this writing). The room was great what you would expect, but I would say that there was great value for my tariff. The breakfast was quite nice but the real difference maker was the hotel staff, especially the front desk. They remembered my name, were always courteous, and insisted on going above and beyond the call of duty. And after offering the best hotel service I've ever had, they refused to accept a tip. Definitely, if you're at the Pearson Airport, arriving or departing, stay here.
