“HYATT IS EXPECTED TO BE BETTER”
THE WARM RECEPTION & CORDIAL FOLLOW-UP THAT HIGHER END HOTELS WERE KNOWN FOR IS GOING AWAY, VERY MUCH LIKE THE CHAIN HOTELS & MOTELS WHO ALMOST DO NOTHING IF THEY CAN HELP IT, EXCEPT PROVIDE A ROOM & BED.
“Nice Stay”
Just an overnight stay for business. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
“Short a couple things.”
The room was tasteful. The washroom, was small, although the shower was large and walk- in. The bathroom did lack a make-up mirror and places to hang towels. Also it was not supplied as well as other bathrooms. The coffee maker in the room was a one-cup one and they only supplied one portion of creamer and sugar. We did not bother with it. There were no bathrobes in the closet, which come with the better rooms we have stayed in. They charged per day for WiFi, so I used my 3G. Most places I know don't charge for WiFi. Parking was fairly high, which was ok, but when we got home we noticed they charged us for three days and we only used the parking for two days. Their accounting office has no e-mail, so I am going to have to call them. There was also no option of valet parking. All in all, the good outweighed the bad and I would not mind staying there again.
“Lovely but amenities were cheap”
Lovely room but very small for the price. Only 2 cups of free coffee & non of it decaf seemed a bit cheap considering the room rate.
“unremarkable”
quite an old hotel but great location.
“Great stay”
Clean room, great service, nice bar and fitness room. Will definitely stay here again.
“Halloween Treat”
Went to experience Halloween did not disappoint the shopping added to rhe experience great location.
“not impressed”
Had an extremely noisy, large group in the room next door. Phoned front desk to complain at 10:30. After several more calls and visits from security, the police were finally called in at 4:30 AM - 6 hours after our firs complaint. Got virtually no sleep, despite the posted "zero tolerance" policy on excessive noise. Very disappointing.
“VERY NICE HOTEL, STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY”
NICE HOTEL
“A perfect hotel for TIFF events!”
The rooms were very clean, quiet, comfortable and the Regency Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel location was perfect for the TIFF events that were the reason for my stay in Toronto. The hotel is situated in the financial district neighborhood which is central and it is easy to get around on foot, streetcar or taxi. There are many nice restaurants located near the hotel and there is nightlife close by as well. The downside of my stay at the Hyatt Regency were the expensive parking fees, and the daily internet fee. I really feel that if you are spending that much on a hotel the internet service should be included.
