Room and bed were extremely comfortable - recently updated, modern, and tasteful. Close proximity to the subway and lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Price was reasonable. Can't go wrong here.

"Comfortable, excellent value"
Stayed for an extended research trip to the Ontario Archives (15-minute bus ride/walk away at York University). Staff very accommodating. Many extras included in the price: an airport shuttle (ask at the desk), simple dinners served on weekdays, pleasant outdoor courtyard seating with a barbeque for guest use, wi-fi, free popcorn in the lobby, etc. Rooms (1 br suite) are large and comfortable, well-appointed. Convenience store in the lobby for snacks and do-it-yourself frozen dinners. The extra amenities are much appreciated, especially for long stays, as without a car you are stranded at this location (not a lot of restaurants or stores within walking distance). Good soundproofing in rooms. Happy to recommend this as the best option in the vicinity. Thank you!

"Great Location, Great Stay!"
Overall, this was a great stay. Staff was courteous. Hotel has begun to show some age, albeit only slightly. We could hear passing trains in our room (thankfully they did not pass by through the entire night hours), so a window/exterior wall upgrade might be in order, or opt for a field view room, if concerned about the potential for noise. Not sure if this would be better on upper floors (we were on the 5th floor). The room itself was quite large, with a large king sized bed, and pullout sofa as well. The bathroom was huge, with a double vanity/marble finishes. The pool was usable, and I liked that the hours were flexible (0530AM - 1030PM!). My only complaints was the traffic to get into the hotel parking lot (however there was an event also going on at the SkyDome/Rogers Centre), that when we showered, there was no bathroom fan, so our room windows fogged up, and the fact that I was not allowed to use a luggage cart for our suitcases without the assistance of a hotel staff member. I would definitely stay here again in the future!!!

"great comfort downtown"
The hotel was very comfortable, the room very clean and the staff excellent. It is currently undergoing some construction to remodel parts of the hotel but this did not interfere with our stay in any way. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and made our stay a very enjoyable break away. We ordered room service and expected that the food would be minimal portions, but to our surprise not only was the food excellent, but the portions were plentiful.

    Pet-friendly Hotels Guide in Toronto

It happens to the best of us: you’re about to leave on a trip, and Fido stares at you with his big puppy-dog eyes, throwing off your entire vacation plan. Luckily, there’s been a rise in pet-friendly hotels, Toronto offering a number of them.

    • Read reviews from others who travel with their furry friends
    • Search through hotels near beaches, trails, and parks for Fido to explore
    • Save money for that new collar you just had to buy for Mr. Pookie

Now you can bring your furry (or sometimes feathered or scaled) children with you to experience the beauty of Toronto.

If you’re looking for a pet hotel, Toronto has a number of critter-friendly establishments that will welcome the non-human members of your family. Don’t just look for small, mom-and-pop establishments; multi-star resorts are rolling out the welcome mat for your well-behaved traveling companions. Once you’re in town, locals will tell you to venture out to Cherry Beach (also called Clark Beach), first and foremost. Dogs are free to roam leash-free in a generous portion of the area. For a little less sand and a little more green, Sunnybrook Park is a favourite spot among pet owners. Dogs are allowed to run around certain sections of the park without a leash. Other popular parks include Don Valley Brickworks, Sherwood Park, and Kew Garden.

For something a little different than parks and water, head over to PawsWay Toronto. Located on Harbourfront, this interactive centre is dedicated to the understanding of pet behaviour. The exhibits are open for both pets and their owners. Don’t miss walking through the centre’s Purina Animal Hall of Fame, which was created in honour of pet heroes.

Book on to find Toronto hotels on the beach, for easy access from your room to the water’s edge, or stick with something closer to the skyline for a true city experience. We’ll find the best discounts on rooms and suites to fit all of your partner in crime’s favourite toys. Along with the kids, tell Fido to hop into the car with you. With help from Expedia, it’s never been easier to find pet-friendly and family Hotels in Toronto.
