"Well equipped and centrally located hotel"
Our room (not the smallest available) was surprisingly large, with a huge amount of closet and storage space and a very large modern bright bathroom. My husband advised me that for the same amount of money at another hotel chain in another major Canadian city he would have had a room half the size. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and when our homeward flight was delayed there was no difficulty in extending our check out time.

"This is a GREAT hotel!"
I've been going to another hotel over the past few months because its closer to my head office. The Westin Prince is the best Hotel for cleanliness, service and food. I haven't stayed here in a while, but I am defiantly coming back on a regular basis!!!

"Good location - close to shopping"
The only real complaint I have is that you have to pay for parking. It was something like $13 or $14 a night. That kind of sucked.

"Little dated "
we stayed here and overall experience was not bad, though the hotel is about 10 years old, it seems outdated and could use a good cleaning, bathroom and kitchen needed some detailing in cleaning.

"Close to airport"
Close to airport, but nothing else. Great breakfast. Had came early before check in because of my flight. They initially didn't have a suite to check me into early, a staff member looked into it and they couldn't be more kind and helpful to check me in.

"Our 2 day mini holiday"
We went to Toronto to go to the Jazz fest in the Beachs. Friday night we took in the sights of Toronto and probably walked ten miles . We really didn't notice how much we walked cause there was so much to see. Saturday morning we shopped . We made our way to Woodbine and Queen in the late afternoon . This was the weekend the pan am games finished . Toronto sure knows how to keep a bisy city organized!

"Decent hotel not far from the airport"
We just needed a place to stay overnight. Our room was big and seemed clean, but our toilet wouldn't flush, so a maintenance guy came to "fix" it. Then it would flush, but the water would overflow out of the back of the tank, so we had to turn the water supply on and off whenever we flushed, which was a hassle. The fitness facilities were fine except that it was not well looked after. When I first came to work out, it was overrun by people and their young (under 5 years old) children, who were climbing on all of the equipment barefoot. Afterward, another family and their young children came in, shirtless and wet from the pool, and also began loitering on various pieces of equipment. Even though the gym isn't monitored, it would be nice if a staff member would stop by once in a while to ensure order. Otherwise, our stay was fine; there was free parking and WiFi, and the hotel is close to a number of restaurants (fast food and sit-down restaurants).

    Pet-friendly Hotels Guide in Toronto

It happens to the best of us: you’re about to leave on a trip, and Fido stares at you with his big puppy-dog eyes, throwing off your entire vacation plan. Luckily, there’s been a rise in pet-friendly hotels, Toronto offering a number of them.

    • Read reviews from others who travel with their furry friends
    • Search through hotels near beaches, trails, and parks for Fido to explore
    • Save money for that new collar you just had to buy for Mr. Pookie

Now you can bring your furry (or sometimes feathered or scaled) children with you to experience the beauty of Toronto.

If you’re looking for a pet hotel, Toronto has a number of critter-friendly establishments that will welcome the non-human members of your family. Don’t just look for small, mom-and-pop establishments; multi-star resorts are rolling out the welcome mat for your well-behaved traveling companions. Once you’re in town, locals will tell you to venture out to Cherry Beach (also called Clark Beach), first and foremost. Dogs are free to roam leash-free in a generous portion of the area. For a little less sand and a little more green, Sunnybrook Park is a favourite spot among pet owners. Dogs are allowed to run around certain sections of the park without a leash. Other popular parks include Don Valley Brickworks, Sherwood Park, and Kew Garden.

For something a little different than parks and water, head over to PawsWay Toronto. Located on Harbourfront, this interactive centre is dedicated to the understanding of pet behaviour. The exhibits are open for both pets and their owners. Don’t miss walking through the centre’s Purina Animal Hall of Fame, which was created in honour of pet heroes.

Book on Expedia.ca to find Toronto hotels on the beach, for easy access from your room to the water’s edge, or stick with something closer to the skyline for a true city experience. We’ll find the best discounts on rooms and suites to fit all of your partner in crime’s favourite toys. Along with the kids, tell Fido to hop into the car with you. With help from Expedia, it’s never been easier to find pet-friendly and family Hotels in Toronto.
