“Old and Tired hotel”
was not impressed at all. Room was old and outdated. very dirty, and even blood stains on the vanity doors. The beds were double and the cheapest quality. Very thin mattresses. Everything seemed dirty. bathtub, to the stove. If I really needed a place to stay and there was nothing else, maybe I would stay there again. But only because of the close proximity to the Village.
“Great location, could use some maintenance”
Town Inn Suites is a decent value for what you will pay. The people who worked there were very nice and accommodating. The indoor pool and sauna are nice amenities that are rare in downtown Toronto, especially for this price. The location was absolutely impeccable. Close to everything that we needed/wanted and easy access to two subway lines. The room was comfortable and convenient. The room itself could use some renovation, new wall paper, new bathroom tile, new carpet, and new dishes to say the least. If you are going for glamor, this is not the place for you. If you are aiming for convenience and cost efficiency, stay here.
“very clean and comfortable and within walking distance to places I wanted to go”
I would certainly go back to the Town Inn. The only down side was the slowness of the elevators and the fact that during my stay two of them broke down which meant on one morning when time was a factor I waited for the elevator for 15 minutes and my friend had to ride up to get me in order to make our meeting on time. The rate is very reasonable which is a factor when I travel.
“Always a good choice”
best choice in terms of location, rates, room space, room equipment, and friendly staff.
“Pleasantly surprised!”
After reading the reviews I was a bit scared of this place. However, when I saw my room it was huge! So much space I didn't know what to do. I stayed in 702. Bed was comfy. Maybe a couple of stains on the carpet. But for that price and such a big space the imperfections were overshadowed. For all those whining in the reviews, this isn't a 4 star 500$ night hotel. There will be some cosmetic issues, but that location, space, kitchen, dining room, separate living room, pool I'll take this hotel for that price over n expensive 4star. My only negative is having to pay for Internet.
“weekend get away in Toronto”
This hotel is well located to pleasant walks, the ROM, restaurants and theaters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
“Who knew "cheap" hotels could be so expensive ?”
General condition and cleanliness of the hotel made me think of booking elsewhere (even if that would mean pay for my stay twice). I usually don't mind about condition, but when it comes to lack of cleanliness, it is really hard to keep being satisfied. Particularly when the hotel is only cheap in its look... By the way, forget the wifi : 12 $/day for an unstable connection (I spent more time trying to get connected than using it). Only one recommendation : avoid this place !!!
“Big space,,,but dirty.”
The room was a big two bedroom apartment looking unit with a kitchen and dining room, 2 bedrooms. Overall the condition was very dirty. I did not want to take my shoes off. The couch was useless as you sunk through almost to the floor. Very small old school TV's. Staff were very friendly. Location is a two minute walk to the subway and Bloor station. Price was very reasonable and in line with what I received.
“Value for Money”
If you want to stay in Toronto Downtown within a low budget for a week, this is the place. Near to Subway station. Lots of restaurants near by. The hotel room furniture is bit old (though the beddings are new).
“Good location, nice staff, but very run down”
Helpful and friendly staff and a handy location to the Museums and Galleries make up, a bit, for a hotel that is pretty run-down and generally in need of a major make-over.
