"Just what we were looking for in our price bracket"
I would just say that I have stayed many resorts so a rating of 4 may be just what you are looking for in this price bracket. It was out 10-year anniversary and it was perfect. I would say the food was about 3.5 rating, the first day we stopped at the outdoor Grill for lunch, very dry & bland. But we soon found out the beach Grill was the way to go for a better option. My opinion is to go to Tuscona for breakfast buffet and venture to the omelet station for a fresher option. Tuscona also does lunch buffet with sushi, that hit the spot for me. For dinner, avoid outside in the early hours because of the bugs, except the beach Dominican dinner, there was enough wind to keep them away. Everyone was raving about Spice and maybe we go the wrong thing, it was ok. Barcelona really did a great job. And the Lobster house was a nice snack after the show. We probably tipped more than we needed to but all the staff was so wonderful.

"Total relaxation couldn't of been better."
We stayed from June 16 to the 19. There was still last minute details the hotel was doing (prepping for the grand opening) You didn't even notice the workers because the hotel staff was so friendly and the hotel was breathtaking. All inclusive was the way to go for us and it was 100% worth it

"Too many sales pitches"
Beware: there are at least 2 companies working the hotel: Legendary and another that are trying to get you to book additional stays. I felt that I was deceived into attending the first presentation which was very similar to a time share sales pitch

"Great staff beautiful hotel"
The hotel staff was the nicest I have ever experienced while traveling. Grounds were always cleaned. There was always something to eat. Food was ok. Only men have a dress code in the buffet for dinner (women can be half naked) mini bar was nice to have. Great pools and family activities. Beach was a disappointment, only spent a few hours there. Bbq dinner was amazing.

"Home in Paradise"
The resort appears to be fairly new. The pictures of the resort are accurate. The resort is quietly positioned on the island. It may have been 10% occupied. The food options are of value. The breakfast was a quality buffet, lunch was served at the pool or beach restaurant, and dinner was served at rotating restaurants nightly. The daily activities were interesting and didn't become too time consume ring. Plenty of time was left to relax. The staff were very genuine. They offered more then the cookie cutter customer service. They were very interested in American culture and English. They also shared their culture too. The only issue is to make sure you get a newly constructed/remodeled room due to air quality.

"Wonderful stay at Eden Roc"
Stayed with my husband and 1 year old baby. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Our suite was superb and we loved our plunge pool. Food was delicious but we felt it was slightly overpriced. The golf carts were an excellent idea to help us get to both the private and public beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families and couples alike.

"Nice experience. "
Very nice hotel. Very exclusive and peaceful. Rooms are a delight. Service is wonderful and the beach is ok. In the afternoon i recommend the bike rides within the premises. Really great. The downfall are that there are no activities (paddle, skiing, scuba, diving) on the beach or walking distance. Food is really expensive and not necesarily worth it (eg. 200$ for three people one adult two children) but there are alternatives you can go within the premises.

"Beautiful facility!"
Can't beat Punta Cana/Bavaro area. Beautiful beach. The Royal Suites Turquesa Adults-only rooms are amazing. I've stayed in a lot of different resorts, and this had the best room (we chose swim-up) by far. Food was disappointing at the Turquesa, but was great at the rest of the Palladium. Over the years going to the Dominican, I see them abandoning more of their traditional food and trying to please the other cultures. But honestly, the best food we had was an excursion to Saona island (a must see) where we had grilled fish and chicken with rice and beans. The Turquesa in June was low key. No social director, and not much happening at night for a 30-something crowd. Disco at the Palladium was disappointing. If you are wanting a quieter trip, spend time with your significant other, go here. If you want a younger, more social experience, this may not be for you. If you're from the U.S., get used to the food not being like it is at home. You're in another country... It was tough getting around, golf carts everywhere, but they'd only stop if you stepped out in front of them. Palladium is so big it takes awhile to go anywhere. Still a beautiful place.
