"Quiet and private despite being an enormous resort"
We stayed during shoulder season in the Elegance Club which may be part of the reason why it seemed so quiet and peaceful. There was never a lack of chairs or Bali beds in the club pool areas, even if we came down late. We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for drinks either. Our butler, Erickson, was THE BEST. Four of us arrived before my parents and he made sure that they got a nice room by the beach, there was no alcohol put in their room and that he would be taking care of them during their stay as well. It seemed that no matter where we were; bars, different pools, in the hallway, we were constantly running in to him. It was never hard to find something to eat. The breakfast buffets are basically all the same no matter which one you go to. Lunch at Italian was better then the dinner we thought. Steak restaurant was our favorite dinner by far but our best dinner entertainment was at the Japanese place. After our tappanyaki dinner we were called over by the bartender Angel. He made us a variety of drinks, sang to us, proposed marriage to my daughter, and took pictures with us. He and Ruddy had us in stitches for over an hour. The service at the French restaurant was terrible. They never refilled our wine or came back to check on us after meals were delivered. Lastly, a shout out to Bebe with the Funjestic (?) entertainment. She was so full of energy and seemed to be involved in every fun activity with a smile on her face. She is a true winner.

"Total relaxation couldn't of been better."
We stayed from June 16 to the 19. There was still last minute details the hotel was doing (prepping for the grand opening) You didn't even notice the workers because the hotel staff was so friendly and the hotel was breathtaking. All inclusive was the way to go for us and it was 100% worth it

"Nice all inclusive resort in Cap Cana"
This was our first trip to D.R. and made a last minute decision to stay at the Alsol Luxury Village with a two room suite. The resort was very nice, great views of the grounds and marina, the pool was fantastic and the staff was very nice and friendly. Special mention goes out to the following persons at the hotel. Tomas the Chef was very nice and always came by and spoke to us and our two daughters (18 and 23). Cairo was one of our servers in the restaurant and entertained us with his bird sound. We ate a couple times as the sister property where we met Santos who was our favorite server - he was very nice, personable and he made us feel special. Francisco was another server that did a very good job. We took (and we recommend) the bike tour at the hotel. Super Sonic was our guide on the bike tour as well as one of the guys at the pool. He was very polite, friendly and nice and took it easy on me at the poolside ping pong table. Raphael always greeted us with a smile and made sure we were taken care of. Last but not least, Eskarlen worked the concierge desk and was most helpful and friendly. We used her a lot and she really went out of her way to help us. All in all, this was a very nice resort with good food, very friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderful pool. The only thing they could and need to improve on is the quality and reliability of the house keeping. We had to call a few times to get our room cleaned, as well as get towels that we not left.

"Nice experience. "
Very nice hotel. Very exclusive and peaceful. Rooms are a delight. Service is wonderful and the beach is ok. In the afternoon i recommend the bike rides within the premises. Really great. The downfall are that there are no activities (paddle, skiing, scuba, diving) on the beach or walking distance. Food is really expensive and not necesarily worth it (eg. 200$ for three people one adult two children) but there are alternatives you can go within the premises.

"Nice hotel, good vacation, relaxing"
Hotel was very nice. Our room did have some details that require some maintenance (shower door hinges particularly), however nothing too concerning. Hotel is VERY big, if you include all four areas (Bavaro, Punta Cana, Palace & Turquesa), each with it's own restaurants, bars & pools. All accessible by mini-train (Disney-ish style). We enjoyed all the pools and buffet restaurants (surprisingly good food), however some a la carte restaurants were too busy. Tip: be at these restaurants way before 6pm. Staff was very friendly, we were always greeted nicely, even by maintenance staff. Disco was very entertaining. Sports bar could have been better. Beware of some pushy souvenir sellers around the pool areas some days of the week (they do not take No for an answer). Overall we enjoyed this hotel and would definately stay again when we travel back to Punta Cana.

"4 day getaway"
We stayed at Breathless Punta Cana from June 17-June 21 for a quick getaway. We were quite pleased with all aspects of the resort. Check in was smooth, even though I had read reviews that said it was chaotic. Our room was larger than I expected and was on the side away from the pool.. we never heard noise from the pool area or other guests. The staff turned down the sheets nightly and left a schedule for the next days events. Our mini bar was restocked and kept full of things we wanted. The food was good and plentiful. The breakfast buffet was enough to fill you for the day.. you literally can't decide where to start. The omelet guy was great and everything was fresh. Lunch at Sofrito was always good and items varied daily.. the pasta station was a winner and hamburgers and nachos by the pool were always an option. We ate at the Italian, French, Lebanese restaurants as well as Culinaria.. we were never disappointed. Diogenes is one of the restaurant supervisors and we saw him everywhere and he always asked about our meal or where we were eating tonight, or what we had ordered. A very personal touch. The wait staff at the pools and beach were very attentive and were quick with whatever you wanted. There was entertainment nightly which we enjoyed most nights. The E Team staff works hard ALL DAY long. They are at the beach/pool at 10 am and are involved in the shows at 11 pm. Juan Carlos sat and chatted with us every time he saw us and made us feel at home.
