Loved the beach at this resort it was clean beautiful water and just a pleasure being at. The food at the buffet and ala carte restaurants was also good and some great choices. Fernand our concierge was great in answering our questions and booked us in at the spa which we loved. The disappointing part of the trip was the service of the staff in the buffet areas. No one was happy and responsible. But the overall experience was great.

Very dirty, rooms were not clean. Bad food. My son got injured and lifeguard didn’t respond. Bees everywhere. My son got stung. Bird poop on loungers. Pool wasn’t walkable. Unfriendly staff. They said there was a shuttle to the waterpark, but there was not. Would not recommend. Lack of plates and utensils in dining facilities. Birds flying around in interior dining areas.

The staff has the worst attitude. They do not answer, and never bring what you request, or if they bring it, it is the worst quality. Specially at the buffet restaurant. The beach chairs are all worn out, and dirty. Some of the food, specially the meat, is dry and tough and not at the adequate temperature.

The air conditioner was not cold enough during our stay. We called and later a maintenance person came but the problem wasn’t fixed. We expended the rest of our stay very uncomfortable.

While the property itself was stunning, with beautiful white sand beach and our personal concierge, Fernand, as well as our housekeeping staff, Carmen, was excellent, the overall service was appalling. Service with a smile didn’t exist and it felt as though wait staff were doing us a favour! Nothing was readily available. For every meal we waited for our table to be cleaned, cutlery, napkins, water, coffee. Good luck getting a refill on your coffee! The service marginally improved the day before we were leaving. We were told that there were ongoing labour issues resulting in bad service. Unfortunately, it was bad enough that we probably won’t return, despite the natural beauty of the place. Also, be ready for a sales pitch to buy a membership to various hotel properties.

Overall it was okay. The scenery is beautiful huge resort however I would probably not return. They mainly serve American food, no Dominican dishes and the food served was less than mediocre. The drinks were about the same. For all inclusive those are the main factors and they just didn’t cut it. The coffee bar did have some good ice cream.
