Our stay at Ocean El Faro was incredible. Many thanks to Carlos Enrique, our concierge, who took care of every detail from arrival to departure. I highly recommend the hotel; it is excellent. The rooms were always clean, and the minibar was restocked daily.

This is an excellent 5* resort. All restaurants have very good food. In the Italian restaurant they even had a bday cake for me.All staff very helpful especially Jose Jiminez,our concierge. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at El Faro Hotel in the Dominican Republic and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. The location was convenient, and everything I needed was easily accessible. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend El Faro Hotel to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic and would happily stay here again!

My family loved the resort, very nice, clean, and rooms are spacious and beautiful and our butler Jose Miguel was amazing, he helped us with anything we needed at the resort and we were very grateful for it. I would definitely recommend this resort for families or couples there is something for everyone. Night time entertainment was the best, everyday something different and lots of fun activities and dancing even my teenage girls loved it, also restaurants are very good except Italian restaurant but overall delicious food.

The room was pretty clean and the property was well-maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly, we really got to know some of them! The bars were great and the drinks were good. It was a great family trip to Ocean el Faro. The staff was very helpful, the housekeepers were really attentive. Our hotel concierge, Miguel Garrido, took care of every single detail to help us experiencing the best stay ever, from booking restaurants and sending fresh drinks to our room to help us checking out & finding transportation to the airport. Perfect communication. Beautiful premises with room for everybody to have fun and relax. Thank you!

Liked all restaurants and Mike’s coffee shop. Steak House Sakura, villa Marina, and Bluemoon were very good. We liked that there are many pools and many pool bars, and their highlight is the lazy river with a pool bar at the lazy river- Omar, Darius, Elberto were great pool bar staff. Maria, my housekeeper was sweet and lovely. Hector, our concierge was very helpful. It’s a large and beautiful facility with great entertainment programs. I would go back there. Most staffs were kind, energetic and pleasant to talk to. But few staffs needed service training to make the experience consistent.

The resort is beautiful, the amenities was on point, is definitely a family resort, the place was very clean . 2 things that I had an issue with was the food , it can be better in the hole resort and the main thing was one of the late night staff who delivered the food to my room lied about us having to pay for the food we ordered because it was after 11pm, I found out on check out it was never reported, is how I know THAT STAFF MEMBER PLAYED ME . If u go to this resort or any resort you order room service after 11pm and is told you have to pay don’t pay cash cause is a scam to put money in their pockets as if we don’t work hard for our money to go on these trips .

The hotel staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We forgot our stroller and we were allowed to use their little push carts for the week which was very kind every day there was activities for the children. The waterpark was phenomenal. The food was great. The restaurant food were OK. The clean and stuff was amazing. Our room was consistently clean. The facilities was up to par. The beach was OK however we did find a beautiful Cove curve lagoon that was on the beside which we were able to use with our children, which was less rough for the kids the lazy river was exceptional. The staff was just fantastic. We absolutely loved it. We would return again sign McNeil family.

Gorgeous property and mostly wonderful staff. Personal concierge was extremely helpful and planned many birthday surprises for our trip. Unexpected and very disappointing downfall was that the beach is not useful. Full of seaweed. Balcony suite was HUGE and very well unkept. Cool air and beautiful accents took the spacious room over the top. Amazing view of the pool for our room as well!! Far from airport, but arranging transportation before hand - through trip advisor made to and from the airport a breeze!

The person who was appointed for our daily eating at the restaurants . Hector thank you so much for making our reservations. Guy who was at the pool side( helping giving the towels) thank you so much for being really kind. He is studying English and I wish him all the very best. Please make sure to clean the pool water they were really dirty and my son got hurt in one of the pool while playing badly.

Punta Cana is my new favorite vacation location! That being said this was my first time at this location in DR! The facilities were pretty but there were pros and cons to the stay Pros: -Great pool selection -Buffett was consistent on any day as far as food taste -Staff was kind and super helpful -Tram service is an awesome amenity to take you from the front to the ocean! Cons: -The resturants were super inconsistent! Almost everyone one I ate at something was either not good or the food came out cold -The staff was spread thin so alot of days the swim bars were packed and only had one bartender or the Buffett was packed and they would run out of plates OFTEN -The room had a mildew scent from time to time (humidity not friendly to the rooms) -the shower was consistently not hot at night I would go back for the staff and the amenities but hoping there is more consistency next time! Ps Tepenyaki Restaurant is AHMAZINGG!! Go as often as you can!
