The resort is beyond beautiful, the rooms were very lovely and cozy. I loved the view from our room facing the main pool. I had a dedicated concierge that I could contact via WhatsApp (thank you for your help Carlos), he helped make dinner reservations for my family during our stay.
Regrettably I cannot say all the staff members were pleasant. The wait staff and at least 1 cook from the buffet were very very rude. I cannot blame the language barrier for this, I think there should be basic customer service training provided to the dining staff (at least biannually). The food wasn’t anything to ride home about, edible for the duration of the stay. There was always an overwhelming amount of beef and pork, as a person that doesn’t eat either meats I could have easily went without chicken. I even brought my own Turkey bacon from AMERICA because that isn’t an option offered for the non-red meat eaters.
The nightly shows were great, my toddler looked forward to them daily. I didn’t get a chance to go bowling, but I stepped into the bowling area and was impressed that this was an option at the resort.
The pools were our favorite, very clean, the staff would walk around and clean regularly. They could use more umbrellas in the pool area. The entertainment was spot on at the pool. The kiddie pool and the lazy river is where I spent most of my time. (Bring your own tube or purchase one at the resort)
