"Excellent option in a great location"
Hosting here give families a lot of options to enjoy Banff and the area within. Very well located on main street, walking distance to a wide variety of amenities, exit to ski areas through easy access to Canada's Highway 1. Clean and comfortable. Refurbish of premises would improve a lot the experience.

"Best hotel in the heart of downtown for night life"
I stayed in the best room - the Boss' Suite - the room was beautiful. There was 2 log couches, log canopy king bed, HUGE ensuite with 2 person jacuzzi tub. There was a nice welcome note addressed to me with 4 Bernard Callebaud chocolates (a local Calgary chocolatier) Pros: unobstructed mountain view, window placement was completely private (could keep curtains open to enjoy the view), free parking, great attentive and friendly service, free well stocked continental breakfast. Bed was super comfy, not too soft, not too hard, same with pillows. Double sinks, separate shower and toilet room. Cons: the hotel guests were loud, the nightlife and club across the street weren't a problem. I'd suggest asking for a room in a quieter are of the hotel facing outwards and not facing the tiny inner courtyard. Shower is small and basic compared to rest of room. I've stayed in a number of banff hotels and this will be my top choice when I return. This was my 2nd time staying at Brewsters (last time was a loft room) and I would book here again for the great pricing, large rooms, the convenience of being centrally located to everything in town.

"Missed my flight home, hotel still gets 5 stars!"
Great place to stay, only a few minuet walk to the core down town. I had a 7am flight back home and booked the 5am shuttle to get to the airport. Unfortunately, I failed to set my alarm clock in the room and MISSED my flight!!! The hotel apologised and paid for my cab to the airport. The Sales Manager Bruce, called me personally and offered a gift card to help cover the 150 dollar fee I was charged for rescheduling my flight. I missed my fight and it was 99% my fault, however Bruce felt the driver of the shuttle should have called my room. I must say its management like this that makes this hotel number 1! I would recommend this hotel in a second! 5 out of 5!

    "Customer Service"
The gentleman (french accent, about 40ish) who welcomed us to the hotel and parked our car was outstanding. He was so outgoing, fun and focused on starting our stay off well .... outstanding. The only negative experience during our stay was the state of the bath tub. It's obvious that the fixture has been painted, but its time for a new one. It is stained, chipped and not pleasant. Likely most of the guests shower, so perhaps it's not a top priority. However the idea of bathing in it was not pleasing.
