The main railway station is 1.5 km away but there's a smaller station called Soffratta only 600 meters from the villa. Less than 100 meters away there is also a bus stop that serves the entire town. The villa is also just a few feet from the most important of the provinces. The mansion house is set in 18,000 square meters and is a focal point of greenery for whole town. In the park you will find a tree and it is a perfect place for a walk and a rest on the benches. The villa has a private swimming pool (size 14 meters X 7 meters) only for villa guests, lawn chairs, parasols, beach umbrellas, gazebo and barbecue "weber". The owners live in a separate building from the main villa, with private entrance. Privacy is guaranteed to the villa Luigia's guests. the Villa is a 2-floor house. On the ground floor, there's a large living room that overlooks a big living room. It has wooden floors with ancient furniture, as well as several carpets and paintings. There are two sofas for 2 persons and a music center. There is also a 6-person angular sofa, on the opposite side, a big sofa with 3 armchairs. The Villa Luigia's dining room is very spacious, there's a big 12-person table (extending up to 16) with a very unique stone fireplace and antique hand-carved furniture. Moreover, the room presents a majestic rug and several paintings. The dining room has a view of the park. In the 25 square meter kitchen there's another fireplace, a stove, kitchen range, dishwasher and all the facilities that you may need like microwave, blender, bacon-slicer, coffee machine, and a big 500-liter fridge. In the kitchen there's a 6-person table. On the same floor, there's a bathroom. The six sleeping rooms On the second floor there is a spacious suite, as big as the living room downstairs. A large room with a queen-size bed, a large room with a queen-size bed, and a beautiful and picturesque view of the park, two outdoor balconies, a small room separated by a curtain with another queen-size bed a window looking at the park, a free space with a large closets and a chair-bed. Moreover, there's a bathroom with all facilities (bath, shower, bidet). The villa has 3 different rooms, each one of a different color. The yellow one, is well-furnished with a queen-size bed, closet, furniture, TV and view of the park. The green room is a mountain chalet with typical furniture from Trentino Alto Adige, closet, television. The orange room is composed of two single beds and a closet. In the attic a cozy double bed-room with private bathroom with shower. All rooms have wooden floors, bathrooms, stairs and windows are in green marble with dark patterning. Bathrooms are equipped with a dryer. All rooms have free WiFi connection. There is a fantastic outside area, with a huge private swimming pool, deck chairs, dining table area and sun shade. The grounds are well kept and you can enjoy watching the birds and fantastic hummingbird moths in peace and let the world fade away! The location is not far from Soffrata train station, from which you can catch direct trains to Venice quite easily. The property is close to a small bakery and a large supermarket, and the best local restaurant we found was Le Macine. The property itself had a few quirks. For example, there was no air conditioning as advertised (there were free-standing fans in each room instead, which in the heat of summer didn't quite offer full respite). The washing machine was very outdated and despite trying to make it work we gave up and just used the local launderette instead. The plumbing was very old and so the upstairs shower was a bit problematic, however all had hot water and pressure (just flooded sometimes and was very noisy). Wifi worked well, there were plenty of spaces to relax as a group together or separately in the various lounge areas. The host was very welcoming, helpful, available to answer questions throughout, was kind enough to pick up my elderly parents when they arrived at the station, and supported us when we had a huge rain storm that came through in a matter of moments! It was very Big and we liked the original style. We enjoyed the pool very much with the small kids. There wasn’t so much right outside of the House, but around 3 km from the House there was a lovely small city with the real italian vibe. The garden was just as vast and beautiful as shown by the pictures onlie, and we all enjoyed playing waterpolo in the swimming pool. We explored the area in three generations, ranging from running orienteering in the nearby mountain forests to touristlife in Venice and opera at the Arena in Verona. Vittorio Veneto is a beautiful small town with everything you need and the house perfect for a huge family. On the warmest days we missed AC, but the fans provided coolness as well.
