The Orchid House Jungle was a very nice place for our family to stay in Tulum. We had 2 adults and 3 children in a 3 bedroom villa. The pool in the room was great along with the upstairs pool at the bar. The best part of our stay was working the staff to help schedule our vacation and get around town. Frank was extremely helpful in getting groceries, setting up transportation, and making sure we had everything needed at all times.

We have a great team experience at Orchid House Jungle. The hotel was beautiful and peaceful. The food was amazing and fresh. The staff was the best, they were accommodating to our needs and help facilitate rentals and tours. We felt like family there with the personal approach and attention. We visited the sister hotel and they were great as well. The continental breakfast was perfect and rooms were cleaned everyday. We will be definitely coming back.

Amazing stay! The suite exceeded my expectations—huge space, super comfortable beds, and a spotless bathroom. The outdoor jacuzzi was a perfect touch. Housekeeping cleaned every day, and the continental breakfast was delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax but still close to everything, this is the perfect spot.

We loved our weeklong stay here. The rainforest vibe and secluded pools and waterfalls were just the atmosphere we wanted, and the location away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood was as very appealing. We had a room with a garden and soaking tub that gave the place the feel of an expensive boutique hotel for a fraction of the cost. The breakfast included with our room was small but excellent, and we made good use of the bar's happy hour. Superb margaritas!

Pros Beautiful, quiet jungle setting Very comfortable bed Friendly staff Excellent huevos rancheros Relaxing front balcony hammock Cons / Things to Know Pool is smaller than photos suggest Property could use some updating Our shower only had cold water Bed canopy and curtains could use washing No in-room coffee or minibar in our room Room less styled than photos online No seating on rear balcony by plunge pool “Nest” dinner space appears to be out of use Overall Feels more rustic boutique than a 4.5-star stay Beautiful atmosphere and peaceful setting

I had the best experience staying in this hotel. The staff were all super friendly - the best host was Frank at the front desk. He did absolutely everything possible to make sure we had a great stay. He was always willing to help out with anything I needed or any questions I had about the city. They were so thoughtful to even upgrade our room before we arrived! The restaurant at the property had the best fish tacos!
