Not happy with my stay at Bay Suites (ICE Condo). The building and suite was very dated. Cheap furniture. Only half a roll of toilet paper. The shower took forever to drain. Futon sofa was the only sofa and it broke. Laundry was left in the dryer to be folded.

The property was convenient, but the apartment had no towel bars in bathroom. The toilet button to flush was missing. The air conditioner did not cool. The washing machine leaked. Maintenance came to fix it one time and saw nothing wrong. Then they set up a time to come back & never showed. Parking instructions were confusing.

The view was amazing, as I was on the 47th floor. I defiantly would come back and stay here again. The host made sure that I made it to the location as I was on foot and did not know my way around, he made sure I was safe. I really felt safe when I arrived.

12 York Street condo is good, definitely located centrally, with a convenient access for restaurants, transportation (Union Station (UP train), convention center, acquarium, Rogers etc. The reviews that we saw were mixed. Actually the accomodation is much better. The condo we stayed is well furnished and even had utensils, Cremora, adequate storage space, pleasant front desk personnel, Roku TV, bath tub, excellent sound proofing etc. Yes the checkin process is too tedious for US travellers and having only 1 key is inconvenient. We will stay again,

Balcony did not lock properly and main door was sketchy. Had to jimmy rig a homemade alarm system because there were no instruction how to use the alarm system in the unit. Overall pretty poor experience. Pretty dirty, not much to enjoy at all. Got the job done but for a pretty high price and more than I wanted to spend.

Property manager seemed unqualified on the phone. After I checked in I found the bathroom door locked. The property manager asked to to send a pictute of the bathroom. I explained I can't send a picture if I can't get in.

This property was mediocre at best. First I had called in to see if there was somewhere we could leave our bags while we waited to check in, as we arrived early. The first lady I talked with said it shouldn't be a problem, she just had to check with her manager and would call me back in 10 mins. I never received that call. When I called in a second time they told they couldn't hear me and would call me back which they never did. Finally I called again and was told that I had to call back in hour. I then proceeded to ask more questions for clarity and when the young man dealing with my call got annoyed with me there was some noise that sounded like lip smacking or foot stomping .He then told me he would call me in 10 mins and surprise, surprise I never got that call. I ended up going and speaking with security who called for me and helped me with the check in process only after they had to get assertive with the person on then phone. They then checked me into a suite that had someone else already in it. There was lots of water damage when we finally got into our suite, along with other damage that had occurred before us. There was very little kitchen tools to make anything while we were there. I will say it was the perfect location as we could walk to all the attractions we had planed to go to. Over all we did make the space work for us, I just felt that we maybe paid more than what we should have for what we got.

The positives are location, you can’t get any better for the price . It was clean , the staff of the building were friendly and helpful, and the host was quick to communicate. I do think 5pm check in is very late compared to air b n bs and hotels. So the fact that they wanted us to wait till 6:30 pm was very frustrating, they needed more time to clean the unit . We walked in on the cleaning crew at 5:30. We had tickets to the ball game, after traveling all day, we needed to freshen up , so we tried to stay out of their way and they cleaned around us. They were very apologetic and nice , but it was an inconvenience and not a great first impression. Having only 1 key and fob ( for entry to building and elevator) was a bit of a hassle as we were a group of 5 that had different plans, so had to figure out sharing of the key ( not able to leave at front desk) . It all comes back to location, would definitely stay again, was value for the money, just have to be prepared for a few bumps .. .

Not like the pictures smells like cigarrettes everywhere not well maintained and the condo had some awfull smell had to leave the windows open, not family friendly couch had cigarette burns on it the futon is very cheap and not comfortable, garbage chute out of service. For the price not worth it you can find better units around the area.

A very nice suite and the rate was very good for the area. It's odd that there is no shower curtain. check-in was confusing as I was not aware that this was a 3rd party rental service and also received the wrong buzz code by text. ICE condo instructions indicate that they only allow bookings through Air BnB and if any other service was used that I should cancel the booking. While this ultimately did not impact my stay, it was concerning and I did not appreciate feeling like my stay was unauthorized or I had to lie if anyone asked.

When we arrived we still hadn’t gotten our check in info. When we called from the airport we were told that our building had been changed to a new location. We had made arrangements with other friends to stay in the same building but were informed that we coùld not be accommodated. No refund or discount was offered, no solution other than take the other building. The unit itself was fine. Our friends were not so lucky. They also were moved at the last moment to a unit within their original building and it was not what had been booked. They were moved again to a unit that had broken glass in the closet doors and non functioning toilet. They were moved a third time the next day to an ok unit but again no discount or refund. From this experience, I would say the bay suites seems to have a pattern of bait and switch when it comes to rooms and their maintenance leaves a great deal to be desired. I will not be risking my stays with them again.

Very nice place but not very clean, my hubby moved the bed to connect a charger and we found a very nasty amount of dirty under bed. The mattress is comfortable but sounds every time to move.Worst thing, the curtains are broken, missing pieces, then forget about darkness to sleep.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!! I booked this suite for my staff as we had our national convention in Toronto. Check in was to be 5pm. Upon check in we found the room filthy, beds not made, garbage's not empty, stains on the couches. After finally getting to management, they said to leave key in the room and they will send cleaning staff. So the place would not be ready for another couple of hours. Ended up not even staying at this property and booked the staff a couple of rooms at another hotel downtown. Tried to get a hold of management to get refunded but just kept getting the run around. BOTTOM LINE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!!

The units were dirty - one had broken glass and torn up floor, broken bed. They were missing bedding linens. I had to complain for hours to have them take any action. They lied to us multiple times. They refused to give us the contact name or number of the manager. Stay away from this property!!

I was hesitant to book due to some poor reviews but everything was perfect. Check-in took 5 minutes, the apartment/condo was clean, beautiful view, good amenities. It’s close to everything you need which is extremely convenient. I would definitely book again!

I am not used to such an impersonal way to communicate during check-in. I had to give too much personal information (including passport photo pages) and was then told to go up to room 1106 where the door was already unclocked. At check-out I was also told to leave the door unclocked and the key on a table. Is that really secure?

The property was in a great location, but the property itself was dingey, the bedding was gross, bathroom door didnt close, and confusing to check in. It says there is parking, but there's not. We had to park in public parking which was $133 CAD .

Great location. Nice condo. The blinds let a lot of light in though. However, Expedia made it appear as though this was a HOTEL, not a short-term rental. I was sent almost a dozen emails, text messages, and calls asking for ID, a $300 damage deposit, and more. I didn't expect any of that. I had to fill in multiple web forms in a hurry. When I got there, there was only a security desk, no staff to greet me. I had to call a number, receive numerous text messages, ask for more information, etc. before security would let me in. I have no issue with this business model, but it should be made more clear that these aren't hotels. I probably would have stayed at a traditional hotel and saved a lot of time and hassle if I'd known.

Do not stay here!!! We were treated horribly! The worst service & treatment I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation. The “help line” phone number provided was answered by the most ignorant man. He was absolutely not helpful! I had to call 4 times for help & he hung up on me 3/4 times. The parking spot we paid $30 for was already occupied by another vehicle so we were assigned a new spot. This made us late & miss our dinner reservation as well as being late for a very expensive Raptors game for 6 of us. After the game, the parking attendant would not let us out of the parkade. He told me we weren’t allowed to park there & basically held us hostage even after I showed him the message from the condo office. I then called the help number again and the man hung up on me when I put him on speaker phone to speak directly to the parking attendant. We were trapped in the parkade & the parking attendant was taking pictures & videos of us including my 11 & 12 year old niece & nephew who are traumatized by these events. He then told us he was calling the police on us because we weren’t supposed to be there. We had to run away & follow another car through the locked gate in P3. He chased us but luckily we got out just in time. I am launching a formal complaint & investigation. My lawyer is also involved. This was completely unacceptable & abusive behaviour!!! Do NOT stay here!!!!

Awful property and the management staff is awful. No lights works , the toilet was broken, smashed mirrors , trim pieces , mold in closets, a lady was in the room when we arrived. I also paid extra 30.00 for a parking spot. Was given two different spots options... both that had cars in them and ended paying again for overnight parking as it was getting close to our reservation time and we needed to get ready and parked. Then at 12am I get a call for the bay suites staff asking if I am staying the night. I was already in bed , checked in. Awful
