Featuring marvelous ocean views, close access to the beach, and space for up to eight guests and their dogs, this home is ready and waiting to make your vacation extra special. Located toward the north end of Netarts, this home is within easy walking distance of the beach, a market, and a deli. To get to the sandy shore of Netarts Bay, you can walk just across the street and past a few houses, and if you follow that shore north a bit you will find yourself on the ocean beach. Netarts has a few restaurants and a grocery store, but if you would like more options you can take a quick 10-minute drive over to Tillamook, which has a large variety of eateries, shops, and activities. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home can comfortably accommodate six guests, though up to eight are welcome to stay here as long as a guest is happy on the couch. You can even bring your dogs with you, though please note that an additional pet fee applies. Also, if you have guests driving in from different areas, up to three vehicles can park on site. From the upstairs living room, you can lounge on the many seating options, gaze out the large windows at the ocean, start a fire in the wood stove, and watch some cable TV. Here you will also have WiFi access, a laundry room, and Blu-ray, DVD, and VHS players with a selection of movies. The upper level also houses one bathroom and the full kitchen, which is well-appointed with all the appliances and tools you may need to prepare meals during your stay. Downstairs you will find the three bedrooms ; all with queen-size beds. If you walk outside from the living room, you will discover an ocean-facing deck where you will love to spend time, breathe in the fresh air, and marvel at the views of the sea. This home is a wonderful place to bring the whole family and even a few friends to enjoy a slow-paced beach vacation. Neskowin has plenty of small-town charm and friendly locals, so you can spend your entire visit walking along the beach, relaxing in this home, and enjoying the company of your family and friends. We have been to a dozen or properties on the coast; this one checks all of the boxes for us! The split level design is perfect, sleeping on one floor and entertainment on the second level. It has everything you need along with being pet friendly which is huge for us. The balcony overlooks the ocean (the pictures don’t do the view justice) with beach access steps away. The front door is also fully glass with no exterior door so it is a bit creepy. There are lots of cooking utensils and they provide laundry detergent as well. There are several board games but most are missing the pieces you need to play.The reason I give 3 stars is communication with the property. it was disappointing to find out the property is ran by a corporation, so you can't communicate with the owners. I booked for two nights and later requested to add a third, and was quoted 90% of the total price to add one night. When I expressed confusion, I was told the price changes up to 4 times per day. There’s a full washer and dryer, one fan that we could find, filtered water on the fridge, a smart tv to login or screen mirror to, a BBQ, and plenty of games! There is one bedroom with a bathroom in it and one half bathroom off the kitchen upstairs, with one full bathroom downstairs where all the rooms are and the entry way! My family, which consisted of my husband, our son and his two boys, loved this house. We got there at four and loved the whole set up. The bedrooms being on the first floor was a huge plus and stayed cool at night, all the bathrooms helped out and kept us clean after visiting the ocean. The kitchen had all of the utensils and appliances we needed to cook our food for our stay. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing in the big living room, watching the ocean and reading books. Jul 20, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### A lovely stay at Happy Camp This house gives a great view of the bay and ocean, so my only disappointment was that the view windows were not clean - a minor peeve. Be aware that the stairs up to the living areas are narrow and steep for your elderly or challenged - there is a handrail of course, one on both sides would be awesome (I know, it's not required, it would just make us old fogies feel more secure). The kitchen has a good supply of utensils and dishware and gadgets. The DVD player has issues, and there wasn't a cheat sheet showing the necessary settings to make the TV work properly, but we weren't there to watch movies anyway. Plenty of pots, pans, cups, etc. There is a small propane grill on the back patio (with propane). Nice views of bay and ocean. The beach on the bay is nice and sandy and across the street. It has a public restroom too but we never used it. If you want to walk to where the bay and the ocean meet, it's about 5 or 10 minutes walking to the end of the bay with very long sandbars stretching into the ocean depending on the tide. Most of the beach goers, and there were not many, were either walking or crabbing. Other nice beaches are nearby. Oceanside is at the other end of about 2 miles of one continuous beach. There are tidal pools there and fun rock formations. It has public parking and a public bathroom too. We would gladly stay at this property again. One thing of note, you can't actually speak with an owner.
