Sunset Suite Pool/hot tub Open at Casa Gia Condo Beach front Indian Shores \*\*\*Beach Nourishing currently in effect, beach access might be blocked during the month of September and maybe October, please consult with booking agency or the Pinellas county site for more details\*\*\* This condo is on the third floor, two floors above parking and it's one of three units in the building. No Elevator. Located on the top floor of this privately owned building, The Sunset Suite is where you want to be while the sun dips into the water. This suite offers a western facing King Master Bedroom with floor to ceiling windows and an en suite bathroom. Room 2 has a queen. Room 3 has 1 queen bed and a full bed and a floor to ceiling window. Bonus room has a sofa and room for you to bring a inflatable mattress for an extra guest. Access to the washer and dryer room. In addition to 3 proper bedrooms and a bonus room, there is a large kitchen outfitted with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The pool and hot tub are open, hot tub is on a set timer to ensure it cycles properly and water doesn't evaporate. We ask that equipment is not touched during your stay. It turns on at 6pm until 10pm, no children under 12 allowed in hot tub, no exeptions. The large balcony can be accessed by the living room sliding glass doors as well as through the master bedroom sliding glass doors. Enjoy the views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony during the day and watch as the landscape lighting illuminates the property after the gorgeous sunset. Located in the middle of city center, start your day with coffee at the shop across the street and end it with a gourmet dinner at Salt Rock. You won t be able to resist the smell, you re so close! Free tennis courts, library and playground are located directly across the street. Mangrove nature walks less than a block away. And just on a personal note, I pride myself on offering a rental that cleans WAY above and beyond our competition. I learned bedspreads are only mandated to be laundered twice a year. Did you just fall out of your chair? Grossest thing Ive ever heard. We wash ours each time. EACH TIME. Yes. You re welcome. So snuggle up with confidence, my friends. Two car garage for parking as well as an elevator made this trip perfect. Beautiful pool and hot tub with a short distance to the beach. We cooked every night in them. Beautiful kitchen. Everything we needed was there to make a shrimp and pasta dinner, grilled steak on the grill, And then he gets killed and suddenly and then had Sunday dinner in the oven. The building is old and really needs to be revamped. The doors are hard to open (we had to have a doorknob replaced because it fell off when I tried to open it), some of the wood frames are broken and rotting, the outside deck is just old and could use some TLC. He asked them if they were staying there and they quickly got up and left. This was our third stay in Indian Shores but first in this unit. We found a bit more run down than our previous rentals. The unit also does not have a closet for beach chairs/umbrellas which we were used to having. They had some rusty chairs and umbrellas sitting by the back gate which were first come/first serve for all units in the building. We actually had to buy a beach umbrella and left it when we left. Beds all need to have upgraded mattresses as they were very uncomfortable. Otherwise the unit is in a great location and had beautiful sunset views from the balcony. There was the cutest little coffee shop within a few minutes walk from the unit. We stayed on the top floor of the unit which had a wonderful balcony which offered a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. There were a few minor issues with a shower head being broken and several light bulbs were burnt out and needed changing but overall a nice unit. The only real disappointment was the spa. We tried to use it a few times in the evening and it never seemed to work properly. I did reach out to the property manager who did respond about an hour later, but it never did turn on. Very close to cute coffee place and easy walks to other attractions/dinning options. Having garage parking was also great, especially when there was a tornado warning! Check in/out was fairly straightforward and the manager allowed us to check in/out earlier/later since there wasn't anyone else before/after us. Communication was ok, could have been more prompt at times. The condo is definitely older but fairly well maintained. It would be helpful to guests to provide dishwasher and laundry pods/tabs if it is expected for us to leave things clean. A broom/dust pan or vacuum would also be helpful for the sand. We did have to kill a cockroach in the master bedroom one night...definitely a memorable experience. The pool/hot tub seemed to not be working correctly and based on previous reviews, this has been an ongoing problem that really should be fixed. A lot of people want to have the pool and beach access and are willing to pay for it but will be very disappointed when the hot tub isn't hot and the pool is green. Overall, nice place to stay but would recommend some freshening up of fixtures, towels, and fixing the pool/hot tub pump. And calling an exterminator. ##### Megan L. We had plenty of space in the suite for 8 adults, loved the time at the pool and the beach was easily accessible. We were all terribly hot. Two fans in Master and Main TV room. Only light bulbs in one fan other light bulbs are taken out of second fan in both rooms. The TV in spare rooms don't work only for Xbox hookup. They give you only 2 pods for dishwasher and barely any soap for washing dishes, toaster barely worked, Kcup large coffee pot was all moldy. There are some things that need updated in the building and the elevator was not working and we were on the top floor so that was a bummer. The owners were there either 3 or 4 days which was uncomfortable but they were really nice and were there to clean up things after the hurricane. The hot tub and pool were both in working condition. We felt that the price for the stay was too high for all that was wrong in the condo. No discount for the elevator being out of commission.
