The largest and most splendid house in the village, Casa Aristo has a sleeping capacity of 10 persons. With 5 double bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms – 3 ensuite, 1 shared plus a cloakroom on the ground floor.
Spoleto Country Park is a huge campus consisting of woodlands, parkland, children’s’ activity areas, sports facilities and a pool. In the centre of this beautiful countryside sits a private village that consists of 6 private houses, all discreetly spaced from each other, interspersed with ancient farm buildings used for storage.
3 of the houses have 2 bedrooms, 2 of the houses have 1 bedroom and then there is Casa Aristo, the grand-daddy of them all! All 6 houses share the vast facilities on this country estate.
Towering above its neighbouring cottages, Casa Aristo is completely private with a large terrace that overlooks large gardens and the mountains beyond. The immediate gardens, filled with shrubs, flowers and trees, are shared on one side with a cottage, Casetta, that is out of sight of Casa Aristo. And, each house has its own totally private terrace.
There are staff on site to assist you 24/7. Otherwise, you need never see them.
Be active or relax! Here, in this oasis of dreams, you are spoilt for choice.
Casa Aristo is exquisitely grand. It had to be because it was the residence of the owner of this private village. He also owns a bijoux hotel in central Rome and properties elsewhere. However, when he is in residence now, he inhabits his new house on the edge of the village, He travels extensively so is only around occasionally.
Why is a holiday in this residence uniquely different to other Umbrian or Tuscan properties of a similar size?

If you are an exercise junkie, there’s a volley ball pitch, a huge trampoline and a football pitch in the surrounding fields. And, there are acres of private land to run in.
If you enjoy games, there’s a football table, an exercise bike and table tennis in a designated games area in the centre of the village.
If you have children, there’s a specially designed kiddies’ corner in the woods with a slide and swings.
If you prefer to relax, there are picnic areas in the expansive woods, meditation spots in the vast gardens and a pool to recline besides.
If you enjoy cooking (or wish to hire a chef), there’s the large communal Verandah that can seat you all, inside or outside. Here is a Bbq and a pizza oven. And there’s a fully fitted kitchen and lounge area so that you don’t mess up your own house when meeting up with one another.

Or, you can stay put on your private large terrace, gazing into the mountainous distance, across olive groves and sunflower fields, a flute of Prosecco in hand, relaxing to the song of the nightingales hailing the setting sun, the squeaks of swifts and swallows, the soft rustle of Tuscan pines and the rhythmic buzz of the cicadas.
If you’re a foodie, you are perfectly located for a gastronomic experience. This area is food paradise. Not least because it’s here that you find the world’s finest olive oils, wines and truffle - all home grown! And that won’t break the bank!!
Just under 2 kms away, in the quaint and well appointed village of Strettura, you’ll find Palazzo Del Papa, a 1st class restaurant and inn where the Pope regularly stayed as he journeyed between Assisi and Rieti. This restaurant, with its beautiful grounds, has been in the same family since time began!!
There are another 3 eateries in Strettura, including a trattoria and a pizzaria. There’s also a butcher, a grocery store and a post office!
Then, just 0.8 kilometres down the steep hill into our village is another wondrous restaurant, Il Capanno. It, too, nestles in sumptuous grounds, and offers 1st class cuisine.
Both these superb restaurants host wedding parties and special events, the latter of which hosted the model, Kate Moss’s, party when she and her entourage stayed at Spoleto Country Park some years ago, when it was a smaller version of itself!
The village is on different levels and the other cottages are discretely spaced from each other, each with their own private garden, terrace and/or balcony. Except for Casetta that shares its large garden with Bella Casa Grande.
Importantly, you have total privacy when you stay in Casa Aristo. And, even inside this vast house, there is plenty of space for you all to be private when you want to be.
However, if you are the sociable type, you can meet up with other guests in the village in a number of communal areas :
-the infinity pool with covered seating area
-several pretty park areas with flowers, trees and benches
-the Verandah with its large table, its Bbq and its pizza oven. It also has a fully fitted kitchen and a shower room
-the sports area in the grounds
-the games area in the village
-picnic areas in the woods
That said, this property is so vast that, you need not meet up with anyone, should you decide to remain elusive. There are endless tracks and trails within the woods. You can just wander “as lonely as a cloud” if you wish and remain completely solitary.
From absolutely every point in Spoleto Country Park, whether you’re in the village or in the surrounding private parkland and woodlands, you will be hypnotised by heavenly views…..mountains, olive groves, vineyards, fields of bluebells, tiny churches atop hill top villages in a swathe of monasteries and pilgrim trails. This is an historic landscape at its finest!

The large Verandah is in the centre of the village. This is a communal meeting place with a seating area for 30 persons both indoors and outdoors, complete with pizza oven, Bbq, fully fitted kitchen, shower room + lounge area.
