We enjoyed our stay here, and will absolutely be back. Staff is wonderful, entertainment was a lot of fun, food is great, and overall 10/10! The only draw back was the tons of seaweed making the beach unusable at the moment, but not much they can do about it.

This was my fourth trip to Mexico and first time to Desire. Food was very good, we actually enjoyed the food and we are very picky people. Not too greasy or salty, fresh food and healthy options. Resort is very small and everyone know your name by the third day. The entertainment was ok, first I complained but really it was relaxing. It is clothing optional resort but more than 90% of women were topless and many full naked and men were mostly full naked. We are not nudists but I took my top off in the first hour. It becomes so normal and u can actually enjoy the freedom. Hot tub at midnight was a lot of fun. Drinks were great and the rooms and hous keeping were really good We will go back if we find a good price in the future

Desire Pearl continues to be one of the most exceptional resorts we’ve ever visited. I’ll briefly mention the sargassum since people always ask: the coastline gets it seasonally, but it truly doesn’t affect the experience at Pearl. The staff always goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. We’ve traveled to many hotels across the Caribbean and the USA, and nothing compares to the service at Pearl. Bartenders remember your drink preferences day after day, restaurant staff pull out chairs and treat every meal like a special occasion, and the Playmakers keep the daytime atmosphere lively, fun, and sexy. The nightly shows are beautifully produced, artistic, and erotic, with incredibly talented performers. Guests consistently dress to impress, which elevates the entire evening experience. My wife felt completely comfortable dressing up super sexy, and the environment was always respectful. Compared to our visit to RM last summer, Pearl offers a perfect blend of party energy and relaxed moments depending on what you want out of your trip. You can lean into the fun or take it slow—either way, the vibe feels just right. If you’re looking for a resort where hospitality, atmosphere, and service truly stand out, Desire Pearl delivers every single day. Can’t wait to come back.

Have you ever had a perfect vacation? Pearl was one of those experiences. The room was comfortable and always clean. The food was so tasty and plentiful. Reviews of other resorts mention watered down drinks and cheap liquor. You’ll not find that here. Top shelf brands and skilled bartenders. Other guests were a diverse lot from around the world. The average age one week was 35-45 and the next week was 45-55. Special thanks to our concierge Camila for making the trip so special.

Desire Pearl has to be one o the best Resorts that we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable, the staff here are some of the most incredible people that we have ever met. From check in to check out they are incredible. The food and drinks are amazing, also we have to give a big shout out to the Play Makers, they definitely know how to entertain the guests. The bar tenders and wait staff are awesome. We would like to thank all the staff at Pearl for making our stay the most memorable time, looking forward to our next vacation.

The staff are so wonderful and the food is excellent. The property is not being maintained like it used to. The seaweed on the beach was shocking so the beach is completely unusable. This used to be an elegant, upscale resort. it’s more like a college frat party now. The walkways are dingy and old and are in desperate need of repair. The noise level from the music at the pool was unbearable by mid afternoon. Since the romantic beach beds are unusable do to mountains of smelly seaweed, there’s literally nowhere to go to escape the noise of the music from the pool. Our expensive beachfront room with balcony was unusable as well due to the unsightly view of seaweed and the horrible smell of it. We also overlooked a dock that needs to be knocked down where they apparently hold events that no one seems to attend. The dock looks to be completely rotted and dangerous.

We had a wonderful vacation! Our room was clean , the staff were pleasant & extremely conscientious to our needs . Being a self proclaimed’foodie’ I will say that the food was 10/10 and the presentation was top notch ! The bar served only top shelf liquors nothing watered down at all. There was nightly entertainment & dancing which we enjoyed very much . This resort was everything we had hoped for & more . The only thing lacking was a small ‘gift shop’ to purchase minor things such as aspirin, toothpaste & things of that nature , but we survived our stay even without !
