This adorable property features a cozy atmosphere that will make guests feel right at home. With 1 queen bed and loft upstairs with 2 twin beds, it's perfect for a small group or family. The cottage boasts excellent amenities such as AC, heating, iron, WiFi, washer/dryer, and a hair dryer. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with everything you need, including a hair dryer and a shower. Whether you're exploring the charming city or simply relaxing in the comfort of the cottage, you're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. The space This cute cottage may be small inside but there is a porch upstairs as well as a porch out back with a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the great outdoors while sip your sweet tea or have morning coffee and enjoy the view. Inside, enjoy watch an old movie or favorite show on the smart TV. A full kitchen is equipped to make all meals or investigate the many little towns around Pisgah or (Scottsboro which is 30 mins away) to eat. Outside, there are hiking and biking trails all around Gorham’s Bluff. A community pool is just next door and during the summer months it’s open until 10:00 pm. A children’s playground for the little ones to play on is located right outside the iron fence of the pool cabana. Enjoy some peace and quiet from your noisy, busy life, up here on the mountain. NOTE: Please note that the gas fireplaces are non-operational at this time. Guest access You would have access to the entire cottage and outdoor space. There is a gas grill, washer and dryer for your convenience. There is a hiking trail along the bluff edge for taking a sunset walk. Other things to note There is information on the table with a listing of restaurants, churches in the area, things to do in the area and instructions regarding the cottage. I really enjoyed my stay in Gorham's Bluff. The host was very responsive even when I was having issues with utilizing the lockbox to enter the house. The house was impeccably clean. It was so nice, the bed was super comfy, and I especially loved the gourmet kitchen and the great hot tub. The shower off the master with a seat in it was so fancy. I did not get a chance to use the neighborhood pool as I was there in the fall but it was literally right next door. Lots of great areas for walks like the scenic overlook with great views of the river and gulf, the neighborhood streets with all the cute cottages, and the pond with visiting geese and mallards. This is a great place to visit if you want some place quiet and family friendly, or for solo travel or couples. I think this would do well too for business travelers- there's a nice workspace off the kitchen and the wifi was super speedy. My cat and I got some great walks in during our visit. There is a nice gas grill off the deck but I did not personally use. Clean, cozy cottage in a quiet enclave with everything we needed. It was truly a home away from home. Day trips to Huntsville, Scottsboro and nearby outdoor recreation spots were an easy drive with lazy afternoons at the pool and late night stargazing. We enjoy having the easy access to the pool. It is also so quiet and peaceful. The wifi is strong for me to work remote as needed while we are away. We didn’t know how amazing the views would be walking around this neat secluded, relaxing community. The hot tub was awesome. Kitchen came with needed things to prepare meals, the outside gas grill was in great shape.
