The apartment was right on a intersection lots of cars revering and hooning all night. One word of caution around noise. Each morning the council uses its blowers on the footpath outside the bedroom - at 6:30am. We were generally up anyway but I expect this would not be a welcome wake up for some holiday makers. The character added great charm, e.g. fireplaces, art and old style building features. There were two things that put a slight dampener on the stay: the ventilation was not very good in the bedrooms, which required us to keep the balcony doors open overnight for fresh air; this meant we could hear the very loud traffic noise late at night of hoons driving circuits of the city right past the apartment. In cooler weather it would not be an issue. On the positive side, we walked easily to everything in the CBD and there are good cafes and restaurants very close by. The owners were fantastic when we had an accident in the apartment and we appreciated their responsiveness. ##### Janet H.
