We booked a quad room stay. It came to light that the air conditioning in the room was non- functional. They "adjusted" it and asked us to wait 30mins. The staff said we had three options, get the night refunded, change rooms or get fans. We waited as asked and asked for a refund which was now denied. They offered a room change but it was 1030pm and my children were asleep. We got fans and waited till morning. We had to follow up with staff, though we were told maintenance would be in. We spoke with a manager who refused the refund and gave us a very limited discount. They were very rigid and unwilling to see our side of the story. The temp outside was 31 and 37 degrees Celsius and AC was absolutely needed. We spent our first morning (we checked out on the second), ferrying our stuff between rooms. Very inconvenient and very disappointed they didn't offer better compensation.
