We had a small suite with a separate bedroom and ocean view. Staff at reception was very friendly and efficient upon arrival. The room was very clean and functional, with a full kitchen, a dining area for 4, a sitting room, a spacious bedroom, and modern, squeaky clean bathroom. We had a nice large balcony, both in front of the living room area and the bedroom, with two normal chairs and two loungers. View onto the ocean was fabulous. Sadly it was end of November and rainy.
The room apparently was recently renovated, with modern double glazed windows and sliding doors.
Similarly, I was very positively impressed by the bathroom, which apparently also had been redone not so long ago.
Laminate flooring in the entrance, kitchen, dining and living area is also an asset, given that people will often come to the room from the beach. The bedroom was carpeted, which I do not like for hygienic purposes but find common in North American hotels. Anyhow, the carpet in the bedroom was clean.
Only thing we did not like was the "included breakfast", which we decided to give a pass after a brief inspection, except one apple and a muesli bar. I guess COVID has taken its toll on the kitchen, given that the hotel restaurant was closed.
Tofino is maybe 5 to 10 minutes by car, so there is no danger of starving anyhow.
The price, given a spacious, clean, modern room within a walk-onto-the beach hotel in Tofino was very adequate.
We intend to be back soon!
