"This hotel was very updated and clean. The rooms were well appointed and the complimentary cookies and drinks were a welcoming touch. Central heating and air were amazing and the heated bathroom floors were very luxurious. While the location is further away from the wharf than others, this was a VERY good deal for the quality. The Palms restaurant downstairs was spendy but SO worth it. Very high quality service and the menu was amazing. They have two bars downstairs and the restaurant. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights and the room was very clean and comfortable. Fantastic view of the water. Excellent location, just 10mins from The Clipper terminal. We love the location because we were walking distance to Downtown without being in the hectic bustle. It also made it easier to visit and enjoy Beacon Hill Park and Cook St. Village! They had a pool and jacuzzi which was occupied by a lot of people, but not our type of thing to do. I would say there are a lot of other restaurant options nearby but I think The Blue Crab (hotel restaurant) looked very nice. Just that the menu didn’t really inspire us to eat there. Great place to stay and great front desk service. Complimentary ride to Downtown if you want and they let us check in a little early. Great experience and very clean room! Very happy about that!"

"Great location, beautiful presentation - it looks comfortable and welcoming right on entry. On-site restaurant (Vista 18) had excellent food. Service was extremely friendly. The only thing that was a bit irritating was the blinds in the room. They provide enough coverage for privacy but they don't provide full coverage of the window so do not work to black out light. The main reason for this is that coverage is achieved with two separate blackout blinds and it is the space needed for the equipment to raise and lower the blinds that creates the gap. Installation of some curtains would resolve the issue, or having a single blind that covers the whole set of windows."
